Thank you to everyone who watched our election coverage last night. I was born in Raleigh and grew up watching WRAL. So the fact that I got to be the guy doing live analysis in front of the big map? Surreal. What a privilege.

A father’s love for his daughter never ends, even when her time here does. There are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing a child or the emptiness that lasts a lifetime. The years may pass, but the love, the memories, and the longing to have her here with us never fade. If you are able, please consider making a donation to support us as we walk to honor Autumn this Saturday. These donations, no matter how small, help fund life-saving research, suicide prevention education, and support for families who know the unimaginable heartbreak of losing someone they love. Autumn will always be my daughter, our heroic archer. She will always be loved and always be a part of everything I do. afspwalks.donordrive.com/tea…

A NEW FRANCHISE RECORD! 🌪️ Pyotr Kochetov's 10-game winning streak is the longest in @Canes franchise history!
Two cutouts of Pyotr Kochetkov with text that reads "Pyotr Kochetkov #52. 10-game win streak. Longest in franchise history. If you stare at the seat pattern long enough it’s actually “magic eye” that reveals the next NC State coach.

The league-leading #Canes (10-2-2, 22 points) are just the sixth reigning Stanley Cup champions in the past 30 years to reach the 10-win mark in 14 games or fewer.

Doeren wanted to do a media criticism bit during this press conference, including shirts with slogans! But says he's holding off to do a podcast by a river with a nice bottle of bourbon. Hey man, sign me up!

All in all it was a Very Doeren Press Conference, down to a sprinkling of salt. Thought he nailed the most important part - the job today is not the job he took, but did what he could to make it work. Also correct in saying the NC State job is a hard job for a number of reasons.

Dave Doeren on his time at NC State: "I love this university, and I leave here knowing that I made it better than I found it -- on and off the field. I wanted so badly to win a championship here at NC State, but I will be cheering for this program to get there under its future leadership."
