Hello, Glitched Goober's husband here! I wanted to share some stats from our Twisted Fate pick-a-card minigame this weekend! For those of you that weren't at #RQLA, my wife's booth had an interactive minigame where you tried to memorize and time gold cards in increasingly harder levels! Rewards were all or nothing - you could either cash out your prizes after beating a level, or risk it all to attempt the next one! I finished building everything late Thursday night in my hotel room and the actual setup was an amalgamation of cables and hope, but I think it held up quite well these past few days! We saw 2193 levels attempted (1449 playthroughs). 49.9% of players beat level 1 (value is slightly inflated since I'd usually beat it when giving a demo). 14.1% beat level 2, and 2.8% beat level 3. Those who beat level 3 received one of our exclusive remaining PACKS Toby's (PAX Twisted Fate!) or a double-sided foil token in addition to all previous tiers' prizing. For the 25 (unique) people who beat level 3, I asked them 2 simple questions: 1) What's another method for scoring other than conquering? 2) Would you like to continue playing the game? Some of you deciphered the riddle and realized you could hold the button to unlock a secret level 4! This level was extremely difficult - I had not even beat it myself yet in my initial testing, and was unsure if anyone could! 2 people did just that! @ChaiTeaCG was our first Grand Prize winner on Friday, winning a set of full art foiled Riftbuds rune tokens! We had one more winner on Sunday, winning 6 Riftbuds packs! Thank you to everyone who played our little game, and we look forward to bringing it back and giving everyone a chance at revenge in the very near future! Misc Notes: -I chatted with most of the winners, the vast majority of level 3 completionists were band geeks/drummers/dancers at one point in life. -For level 1, most people that failed did so by hitting the button too early (red). For the others, the majority failed by being too late (blue). -For levels 2, 3, and 4, the second gold card was the most commonly missed. -3 people thought my name was Toby -2 people asked for *MY* signature on a Riftbuds token! -1 kind Rioter said they would've given me a Buff if they had one (I'd finally get one on my own!)
