No words, Just sadness. Some things are too disappointing to even explain.

In the past, simply using a Pudgy Penguins NFT as your PFP could earn you goodwill and make you seem approachable within the crypto community. When prices were much higher, the PFP itself even carried an aura of influence.
But now, that same PFP can leave a very different impression. Some people may see you as unpleasant or even hate you simply for using it.
Displaying your affiliation with the community no longer carries only positive associations. It can now mean facing prejudice or resentment. A symbol you once wanted to show off can become something you have to explain or defend. Doesn’t that sound pretty exhausting?
I think this is a deeply damaging shift for the community, one that goes beyond a simple decline in price.
Don’t assume things will go back to the way they were just because time passes and the dust settles.
Wounds heal, but scars last forever.
And this is a scar people will never forget.

I really loved being part of Abstract. I spent so much time playing games, making content, and helping other people get started. A lot of us did. It became part of our everyday lives.
Of course I hoped there would be rewards too. But that doesn’t mean the friendships, the effort, or the support weren’t real. Calling everyone “airdrop farmers” is such an easy way to dismiss all of that.
I understand that a business can fail. I’m still upset about how it ended and how the community was treated. Hearing that focusing on Pudgy was the right business decision doesn’t make me feel any better about it.
Honestly, this changed how I feel about Pudgy too. I used to get excited about almost everything in this ecosystem. Now when I see a new announcement, I don’t have that same excitement. I keep thinking about Abstract.
People can support whatever they want. But I can’t just go back to posting penguins like none of this happened.
I still love the people I met there. I just don’t trust the team the way I used to.

Hypothetical DataLine workflow: AI reads portfolio balances (read-only), then prepares an UNSIGNED ETH→USDC swap. “Swap some ETH” is ambiguous: pause to clarify amount, chain and slippage. Only I review and sign in my wallet. Keys and funds remain under my control.

Read: DataLine can access read-only balance and portfolio data. Seeing your assets doesn’t mean moving them. Prepare: Ask for a swap, and it can prepare an unsigned transaction. Preparation isn’t execution.
