The Bears and Chargers are deep in trade talks involving Khalil Mack, which could be finalized after this weekend. Chicago would be sending Los Angeles a Day 3 pick, likely a 4th or 5th, in exchange for Mack. Mack wants to compete for a Super Bowl this year and return to Chicago.

Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.

all offseason I was called a doomer for complaining about Izzo’s lack of willingness to get a REAL center. it’s not even the regular season and we have to rely on Ethan Taylor to be the guy as a true freshman (completely unfair to him), because of how bad Anton Bonke is.

this was so predictable too if you watched the tape. bonke was not remotely dominant at the G5 level. he’s over 7 foot yet cannot win a rebound off the glass, and it’s not like he has any sort of three level scoring upside.
