This barrier design also impede wheelchair users when boarding accessible buses. The gap between barrier bars barely fits a person, and not a person using a wheelchair or pushing a stroller.
One of the contributing cause of death is the design of the bus stop
I hate this bus stop barrier design because it forces pedestrian to squeeze in tight gap to take the bus and as you can see, it's hollow
A good bus stop ensure the bollards protect the pedestrian, buses or not
