YMCA Europe and the entire international community join @ymca_esp in sharing the deepest condolences for the passing away of Mr José María de Las Casas former President of the Spanish National Movement. José María was an outstanding committed leader for more than two decades serving as a volunteer at local and national levels with a deep support to the international dimension of the YMCA and a clear youth empowerment approach. His attitude and actions were always driven by our YMCA mission and his support to the movement were behind the growth and sustainability of YMCA Spain and the Zaragoza YMCA where he started serving at the local Committee as father of children also involved at the YMCA. Our thoughts and prayers are with José Maria’s wife Marilo, his children Victoria, Cristina and Diego and all the family.

💙💛The team of YMCA Lviv proudly represents Опера-Міф "Ukraine - Terra Incognita" - in the United States of America. The tour has led them to connect and perform in the city of #Detroit, right in the Opera House. 🙌The team has been welcomed by Haylen Weir - President and CEO of @YMCADetroit , and the great hospitality of the YMCA Family and friends. The team shared stories of hope and resilience from #Ukraine, and wonderfully performed and brought to the #US, a part of their #culture, #heritage and #spirituality through the incredible performance. 🌟What a fantastic journey of support and collaboration showing the strong bonds within the people of our movement.

Hosted by CVJM Germany, the European National General Secretaries and guests from across the world attended a special meeting in a very symbolic place: the Chapel of #Reconciliation. As these days we are celebrating YMCA Europe's 50th anniversary, it's again a very good moment to demonstrate that #YMCA is an organisation that, since its inception, builds bridges, rather than walls... #y2gether – at Berlin, Germany

On day four at #y2gether, the afternoon`s discussions were focused on #Vision2030 - Meaningful Work. Kathleen Elsig, @WorldYMCA Director of Global Partnerships, moderated a panel among YMCA leaders and partners on Meaningful Work that provides a sense of purpose, fulfilment and has a positive impact on oneself and others. She was join by Kika Jorje (What if Innovation - Accenture), Pedro Fueyo @ymca_esp, Nick McGirl @cmxchange and Victoria Trofimova @cvjmbayern. Many thanks also to @graemehodge from @YCareInt who gave an input on the new online platform that help everyone to engage with the four pillars. It has been a great learning process on the future of work, youth empowerment and community support.
