Kevin Durant explains why Shaquille O’Neal would score more points and record more triple doubles in today’s NBA, arguing that modern spacing and three point shooting would make him even harder to stop
Durant believes Shaq would thrive in the modern game because teams can no longer crowd the paint as easily. With more shooters on the floor, defenders would have a harder time doubling him, giving him more room to operate around the basket.
He also argues that Shaq would benefit from playing alongside more skilled teammates, making it easier for him to pass out of double teams and create opportunities for others.
Shaq agreed that he would score more points and collect more rebounds, pointing out that the increased number of three point attempts would create more rebounding opportunities.
However, he pushed back on Durant’s suggestion that today’s NBA is better than previous eras, arguing that his Lakers teams already had plenty of shooters, including Rick Fox, Robert Horry and Derek Fisher.
Shaq also admitted that he might not enjoy the modern game as much because he likes having the ball in his hands.

Porn star Pinky's father has been locked up since she was 17. In prison he watches whatever he can get his hands on, and he's a big fan of another p*rn star, Cherokee. When his own daughter shows up in the same orgy scene, he just fast-forwards to someone else.
She was supposed to be the one who made it. A scholarship to a special high school in Minnesota, violin, ballet, a shelf of awards. Everyone knew she was going to college. She didn't, and after years of recitals her mom had one rule: "Tell me first. I don't want to know from somebody in the street."
So before she shot a single scene, Pinky sat her mom down and laid out the whole plan. She'd do it independently, sell her own DVDs in the club, build a website, then shoot for other companies and blow up. Her mom kept repeating the same thing: "I don't want to hear it." Then she convinced herself, and Pinky's grandmother, that her daughter wasn't doing p*rn at all. She was just "taking nasty pictures."
That lasted until Pinky started showing up in magazines and in the little ads in the back. People kept mentioning her name. Her mom couldn't believe she was that popular, and Pinky says she still doesn't understand how popular. Now it's "my baby, my baby."
Telling her father was worse. She says it was hard enough admitting she danced at the club, and people from San Francisco had already told him. With p*rn, she was "really embarrassed." "That's embarrassing that my father sees me f*cking on film," she says. "But it is what it is."
His answer came from a prison fire camp. "I love you," he told her. As long as she's protecting herself, as long as it's what she wants and nobody's making her do it. He still has 4 years left. He might get out early for good behavior.
Half the internet calls it the most supportive dad in America. The other half says no father should ever be in that position. Almost nobody talks about the fact that he's not skipping her scenes out of shame. He's skipping them because he still has to watch.
She was the kid who got the scholarship. Her dad watches her career from a prison cell, one fast-forward at a time.
Was Pinky a grown woman who built a business on her own terms, or a girl who never stopped performing for a family that was never in the room?

Money B said he knew something was off when he bought Biggie’s Ready to Die and couldn’t find a thank-you to Tupac in the credits.
He’d heard Biggie’s earlier demo, and the difference in his sound was noticeable. Having witnessed Pac take Biggie under his wing, Money B believed Pac’s influence was all over the album.
Imagine learning from a man, borrowing from his game, then acting like he had nothing to do with your success. 👀

Palmer Luckey tells Joe Rogan an African grey parrot's tiny brain could change how we think about AI
Joe Rogan: Are you familiar with Alex the African grey parrot? African greys are probably the smartest bird, right up there with crows and ravens. They can talk, they can reason.
Palmer Luckey: Alex was a uniquely smart one. African greys are usually not kept in captivity because they're a handful, and they're a handful because they're so intelligent. They need intellectual stimulation, and most people don't have the time. They get depressed and self-harm.
Palmer: Alex had a vocabulary and understood grammar. I think he's the only animal who asked an existential question, right before he died: "What's happening and where am I going?"
Palmer: And he has a tiny bird brain. People who've lost huge chunks of their brain seem to get by. Parrots like Alex suggest you can do a lot with very little brain if it's oriented correctly.
Trainer: What's different? What number is grey?
Alex: Four.
Trainer: Very good. Good boy.
Palmer: That's intelligence on par with a human toddler, with far less brain tissue. Building a thinking system from scratch with AI will help us understand how other systems think. There's never been an economic motive to dig into how the brain fundamentally works. Google's never funded it to the tune of tens of billions. Meta's never funded it to the tune of hundreds of billions.
Nobody paid to understand the brain until there was money in building a copy of it.
