Exactly 1 year ago, I entered core of Cat 5 #MELISSA in #Jamaica. Tied as strongest #hurricane impact in N America. Winds: FEROCIOUS. Gusts well over 200 mph. Enough to reduce concrete to rubble. All I remember: White void of energy swallowing the building. Ear-splitting scream.
