Primus @KaitoAI Katalyst is still live for Epoch 2

there's a problem between traditional finance and DeFi that doesn't get enough attention.
how can a smart contract know that a payment actually happened outside the blockchain?
imagine buying USDC from someone using a traditional payment service.
you send the fiat.
the seller holds the crypto.
but who verifies that the payment was actually made?
a screenshot? a bank notification? someone's word?
this is one of the use cases I found while exploring @primus_labs and its zkTLS infrastructure.
the proposed mechanism is surprisingly elegant:
- crypto is locked in an onchain escrow contract
- the buyer makes a payment through an existing Web2 payment service
- zkTLS generates a cryptographic proof of the relevant transaction details
- the smart contract verifies that proof
- the escrow can release the crypto when its conditions are satisfied
the interesting part is that the payment provider doesn't need to rebuild its entire infrastructure around blockchain.
and the contract no longer has to rely on a screenshot as evidence.
of course, proving payment details doesn't eliminate chargeback risk, fraud, or compliance requirements.
but making offchain payment information verifiable is an important building block.
if institutional finance is going to move onchain, connecting these two worlds isn't enough.
we also need a way to verify what happens between them.
that's where Primus starts getting interesting.

The interesting part of @termix_ai ’s new Quant Agents isnt AI trading.
It’s the permission model.
Each job gets its own wallet.
You set the trading cap + term.
The agent gets a restricted, revocable session to trade.
No custody. No blank cheque.
That feels much closer to how agentic finance should actually work.
Let the agent act.
Not own.

something interesting I found while digging through @primus_labs docs:
DeFi knows exactly how much collateral you have.
but almost nothing about your actual creditworthiness.
think about it.
you might have years of solid payment history, a healthy income, and assets sitting in traditional financial accounts.
none of that means much to a lending protocol that only sees your wallet.
Primus explores a different approach using zkTLS.
borrowers could prove information such as credit scores, income, or payment history came from legitimate offchain sources, with selective disclosure instead of uploading their entire financial lives onchain.
lenders could then incorporate those proofs into their risk models.
better collateral terms? potentially.
personalized lending rates? possible.
of course, a verified credit record doesn't eliminate default risk.
but forcing everyone to overcollateralize because DeFi can't evaluate anything beyond wallet balances?
that's a limitation worth solving.
this is where privacy and verification start becoming genuinely useful financial infrastructure.
What if your capital could do more than just support your trades?
That’s one of the ideas I find interesting about @grvt_io and GRVT 2.0.
With Grvt Earn, the goal is to offer tokenized fixed-income strategies targeting up to 11% APY, while Yield as Margin aims to let users use eligible Earn balances as trading margin and continue earning yield.
I like this direction because it focuses on making capital more efficient instead of leaving it idle.
Of course, the targeted yield isn’t guaranteed, and the real value will depend on how these features work in practice.
Looking forward to seeing GRVT 2.0 bring trading and yield closer together.
The first question I ask about any yield product isn't how much?
It's who actually controls my money?
A double-digit APY means very little if you don't understand where your funds sit or who has the authority to move them.
This is one of the more interesting parts of @grvt_io
GRVT uses a self custody model where user assets are held in smart contracts, and withdrawals require authorization from the user's own key.
The platform handles trading and execution, while zero knowledge proofs are used to verify settlement on Ethereum.
In other words, the exchange infrastructure and the authority over your funds are designed to remain separate.
That doesn't mean everything is risk-free. Smart contracts, market exposure and third-party yield strategies still come with their own risks.
But I like the direction here.
If we're bringing institutional style financial products onchain, user control shouldn't be something we sacrifice to access them.
A $161 trillion market sounds massive, but market size alone doesn't tell the whole story.
But the more interesting question is who gets access to that market.
For decades, some of the most established fixed-income strategies have been difficult for ordinary investors to reach.
High minimum investments, accreditation requirements, limited redemption windows. The infrastructure was largely built around institutions.
Tokenization is starting to change that.
And @grvt_io wants to take the idea a step further.
Its upcoming Grvt 2.0 roadmap combines access to tokenized fixed-income products with something particularly interesting for active traders: using eligible yield-bearing assets as trading margin.
The plan is to introduce the upgraded Earn product toward the end of October, followed by yield-bearing Earn balances becoming usable as margin in November.
Imagine having capital generate yield while simultaneously supporting your trading positions, without constantly moving it between separate accounts.
That wouldn't remove market risk or make returns guaranteed.
But it could remove a lot of unnecessary friction between saving, investing and trading.
To me, that's where the TradFi onchain narrative starts getting genuinely interesting.
GRVT is making some interesting moves heading into the end of 2026.
The token issuer has permanently burned 1.1M $GRVT, taking nearly 1% of the circulating supply out of the market.
But the bigger picture is what’s coming next:
→Grvt Earn with yields targeting up to 11%
→ Zero-fee perps for stocks, commodities, FX and indices
→ Yield as Margin
→ Grvt 2.0 bringing earning and trading into one self-custodial balance
With Grvt 2.0 planned for the end of November, it’ll be interesting to see how these products come together.
The 11% yield is a target, not a guarante. The real test will be adoption @grvt_io
I think the real story with @grvt_io isn't just the new products, but how they could translate into value for $GRVT.
The team is preparing four major releases by the end of November.
Grvt Earn, targeting up to 11% yield, Stable Funding Perps for stocks, commodities and FX, yield-bearing assets that can also be used as trading margin, and finally Grvt 2.0 bringing everything together.
The goal is no longer just to let people trade. It's to let their money earn yield and stay ready for trading, all in one place.
The token side is what makes this more interesting to me. The first buyback burned 1.1M $GRVT using the platform's gross profit. Monthly buybacks are planned, although the amounts and timing aren't guaranteed.
Price action has also picked up. GRVT has been recovering, but it's still below its previous high of around $0.45. With Bitcoin and the broader market still volatile, a price bounce alone isn't enough to confirm a sustained uptrend.
The real questions are whether Earn can attract capital, whether the new markets can generate meaningful volume, and whether all of this translates into higher platform revenue.
Because the cycle makes sense: better products attract users, users generate volume, volume brings revenue, and revenue can fund buybacks that reduce supply.
If that cycle actually works, GRVT could have something meaningful here.
But announcements alone won't prove it. Real usage will.
When Grvt 2.0 arrives at the end of November, I'll be watching user growth, trading volume and whether the buybacks continue.

Socialfy (@socialdotfun_) : Full Breakdown
Socialfy is a new social token launchpad built on Robinhood Chain.
Unlike normal launchpads, it’s designed around social influence.
Core Idea:
→ Launch a token
→ Select an eligible X account
→ Route the token’s creator fees directly to that X account
The person receiving the fees doesn’t need to launch the token.
They just get rewarded for their influence and the attention they bring.
How it works:
1. Anyone can launch a token
2. Choose an eligible X creator/researcher/community member as the fee beneficiary
3. Trading activity on the token automatically sends creator fees to the selected X account
Simple formula:
Launch an idea → Pick an X account → Let the fees follow.
Eligibility:
Socialfy has already indexed around 14,000 X accounts.
If your account isn’t listed yet, you can still qualify with:
• TwitterScore 100+
• or Social Score 60+ (when TwitterScore isn’t available)
Eligible users can connect their X account + verify wallet to become eligible for rewards.
Current Status (Oct 2026):
• Extremely early project
• Contract Address (CA) not live yet
• Token has not launched
• Website is live: socialdot.fun
Socialfy Genesis Collection:
• Supply: 500
• Price: 100% Free Mint
• Chain: Robinhood
• Benefit: Platform Revenue Share
• Apply here → socialdot.fun/apply
Why it matters:
Traditional creator monetization depends on platform rules.
Socialfy creates a new model where token economics are directly linked to X influence.
Your influence doesn’t stop at your timeline
it can become part of a token’s economy.
TL;DR:
Socialfy = Social Launchpad on Robinhood Chain
Launch token + assign creator fees to any eligible X account.
Genesis free mint (500 supply) is open for applications.
Still very early. CA not live.
