What ive come to realize about most ichiruki shippers is that what they seem to view as romantic undertones most of the time is stuff most shounen readers and writers simply view as protagonist deuteragonist dynamics. Rukia to ichigo is like killua to gon or sasuke to naruto.

I think people are confused. Cause some are going "But Blue IS building off SSG" yes but only technically. We see NONE of the build to Blue. We don't see how they trained for it, we don't see how they even thought about it in the first place, we don't see them achieve it.

In a lore sense, yes, it builds off God. In what it actually does in the series itself? It just comes out of nowhere, and replaces Super Saiyan. No build up, no nothing. It's ass, and then the form just looks bad with that awful cyan color.
