Hey @winstontseng - I'm reaching out to invite you as a guest speaker in a class I'm teaching. (See the note I sent you via instagram - hope you can make it!) -eric
Later this week: I'm running an online workshop with @KillScreen and @AIGAdesign.
Come join us to play around, learn some of the fundamentals of game design, and see how you might integrate games into your professional and creative practice.

If you happen to be near Helsinki in Feb:
• @nakworks and I at GamesNow!: gamesnow.aalto.fi/nathalie-p…
• workshop at Aalto University (open to anyone): gamesnow.aalto.fi/gn-worksho…
• plus game design talks and workshops in Lapland (and possibly Taalinn, Estonia too!)
Later this week: join me at @KillScreen for an online game design workshop where we will be playing, modding, and designing. It's a solid intro to ideas and methods for designing games - whether you are already in the games world or just game-curious.

Replying to @nakworks
@nakworks and I are honored and touched to receive this award in the memory of our dear friend Bernie DeKoven at @IndieCade this year.
Thanks to @jofsharp for being a friend, sparking our first collaboration and introducing us - and to @lewis_gordon, who spoke about the impact of design and games on the climate and the planet - something we are trying to integrate more into our thinking and into our work.
Tomorrow @nakworks and I are talking about materials, space, and why we stopped building games. 1pm ET - free to register at Clash of Realities online.

Next week @nakworks and I are speaking at #ClashOfRealities about materiality and our architectural / game collaborations. The whole conference is online and free!

For my fellow NYCers - this voting guide is the best I've found to make sure progressive dems get the noms:

Here's why a design “crit” is a better model for a critical exchange:
In a design crit your goal is to HELP the person whose project or statement is being critiqued - to understand what they were trying to do and to strategize with them how they can do it better.
(a thread)
And BTW: this doesn’t mean a crit can’t be critical - it’s called a critique, after all! Direct and honest is best.
If there is a repugnant idea that is spoiling a design, your aim should be to point that out and provide some alternative approaches.
