Listening to @cpnuernberger @clojure_conj & looking @ the effort he’s putting into High Performance #DataScience #Computing for #Clojure, I'm loosing my doubts about performance issues compared to other languages’ scientific #coding stacks … #clojureconj github.com/cnuernber?tab=rep…

Those days when “LoggerFactory is not a #Logback LoggerContext but Logback is on the classpath …” #Logging in #Java – a never ending conflict of the libraries … This time my day was saved by @web_rupert’s #Groovy solution on #Gradle’s root level – stackoverflow.com/a/59985914

These R #Statistics learning resources by @ProfAndyField look so tempting that I seriously think about new #rstats #coding opportunities just for the sake of them …

Just in case you, too, waste days to figure out why your #ApacheXerces readers fail to parse #YANG instance-identifier elements with multiple /list[key="value"]/ segments in your #NETCONF/#XML: Turn #coalescing on :) #Java: .setProperty(XMLInputFactory .IS_COALESCING, true)
I want a world where objects can have twice their own size …

Btw: If you for some weird rare reason need an identical bound method object on each .bar access (given Foo won't dynamically change) then you can do a funny hack: f .bar = f .bar ... So it ends up cached in f .__dict__ ... Of course one of those things you should better avoid ;)

And that's indeed annoying ... :)

Every access to the .bar method on the f instance creates a new bound method object ... Just look at their id()s

I‘d rather say it‘s not every project’s cup of tea... But given the right one, and based on what I listened to so far, it can definitely be a whole pot of inspiration :)
