Why is ZEC important right now? Because financial privacy has never mattered more. As surveillance continues to grow, Zcash gives people the freedom to protect their transactions while choosing the level of privacy they want.

Long live, Zcash! ❤️❤️
Ten years ago today I wrote a blog post entitled "Zcash begins", announcing the genesis block of the Zcash blockchain: web.archive.org/web/20180810… ⤵️

Starknet could be likened to Ethereum in 2015. Consider adding privacy and quantum resistance, then do your own calculations.

100% agree with @lordOfAFew My take is: 1. It's already consensus that ZK-STARKs are the endgame for blockchain 2. Cairo is optimized for ZK-STARKs 3. The more people rely on AI for coding, the more we'll shift from choosing a programming language because we know it to choosing one because it's best suited for what we're building. Build with Cairo.
One of the biggest barriers to @Starknet adoption was the difficulty of Cairo. The latest models like Opus 5.5 entirely crush it. And for those that don’t know, Cairo is an absolute monster for the most complex of smart contracts. Larger contract size, greater provable compute. Go nuts. Literally go nuts. Build the most complex distributed system you can think of!

Starknet doesn't stop impressing me day after day. just peeped the 0.14.4 upgrade with those 1.1B gas block proofs, shadow accounts for actual private defi, and them floating a quantum L1 by 2027... this thing keeps delivering. Sharp as a knife.

Sad, but true.
This joker is a fraud. I hate this industry. So many zero sum. So many grifters. So many LARPers and mercenaries. So many grasping for power. So many self-seeking. Underneath the voices, there is something pure. Human agency. Best solution wins. It must. It will. Onward.

Day 7 of the 88-day challenge. Sold the CS2 skins, funds cleared, and I put the full $1k into Chiliz (CHZ). Entry: $0.01476 Amount: 67,682 CHZ Target: $0.1476 (10x) Why CHZ? It’s a real sports/fan engagement project with actual utility and adoption through Socios — not a meme coin or some broken narrative play. I wanted something with real-world use instead of pure speculation. Screenshots of the buys are attached. Not financial advice. Just documenting the run.
I decided to start an 88-day challenge: Turning $1,000 into $10,000 I sold $1,000 worth of CS2 skins on @SkinLand_market, and I will invest the proceeds into the crypto space to turn that $1,000 into $10,000 by choosing only 1 coin/project to make x10 from my entry within 88 days, by the end of the year. My goal is to eventually purchase a "Butterfly Doppler (Ruby)" and "Sport Gloves Nocts MW," which are valued at $10,000. In 7 days, I will receive the $1,000 and announce what I am investing in, along with the live market prices. This challenge is for fun and not financial advice. ALWAYS DYOR. 🧙‍♂️

Agreed.
Replying to @dani_who_daniel
How is this contradicting? We are indeed delivering an economic layer for BTC and at the same time we are scaling Ethereum. Crypto needs get over this maxiness where you have to choose one chain and hate all the others

Starknet isn’t about mooning or price speculation. Please don’t reduce it to that. This is much bigger — it has real potential to matter for the world in the long run.

It's interesting to see that many people are now talking about quantum resistance! 👀

Quantum computing is actually simple to explain.. Typical computers process 0 and 1 as separate but equal states. Quantum computing can turn a 0 or a 1 into any other state or 0 or 1. Thus a 0 can be a 1 and vice versa simultaneously.

Limited supply vs. unlimited printing. I’m not swapping the first for the second. I’ll hold the scarce asset and spend from it while the printer keeps going brrr.

The U.S. Treasury Department has withdrawn two proposals that would have significantly expanded crypto financial surveillance, including requirements to collect counterparty information for certain self-custody wallet transactions over $3,000. Privacy should be normal.
Treasury just withdrew crypto surveillance rule proposals long opposed by Coin Center. The “unhosted wallet” and mixer rules would have expanded reporting into our pockets. coincenter.org/treasury-just…

omg the Rust standard library does not come with a deterministic, stable RNG? That's dumb.
