Romanian folklore-tinged commission for Mau/Irina!
a figure emerging from a lake, against mountain scenery that is flanked by both the sun and moon. A herd of sheep, one of them black, are in the foreground, and some Blajini (RAT PEOPLE) are reflected in the lake, below a shrub of fruit. The piece is bordered in the patterened circle of a sepent, which gobbles a small 7 headed dragon. In the top two corners are goat costumes, and in the bottom are two small bears in dresses with large red ear tassels.
