Wise to #MaskUp when you vote. Voting is often held in poorly ventilated old buildings, and Covid lingers in the air like smoke. The ventilation is so bad at my polling location that one could theoretically get Covid from someone who recently voted & just left the building. 🇺🇲

Honestly this is why I don't ask people to mask around me, but I'm starting to because I'm just realizing so few people know how much SARS-CoV-2 is floating around. For context, we, according to wastewater data, are RIGHT NOW nearly at the peak we hit in 2021....

Seattle is officially extending its light rail 8.5 miles north to Lynnwood today, IMO the most important US transit expansion of the year, and the graphic designers for the grand opening celebration cooked up this absolute masterpiece

Just wanted to thank @bambipotf for telling me about bikehopper.org! Was able to get from @pleasantonca to @montalvoarts in 2 hours 40 mins, an hour earlier than @GMapsPlatform suggested via transit and an hour later than current traffic conditions suggest via car.

This meant I only had to ride my bike total for about 40 mins or so; 15 mins to Pleasanton BART and 25 mins from near West Valley College up to Montalvo

Also thanks to @monicamallon for your posts and writing about @VTA! I was about to bike from Beryessa BART to Downton SJ light rail and then from Winchester VTA to Montalvo thinking my 29er bike wouldn't fit the bus racks, but was surprised to easily get my bike on
