Noboa reportedly has vast offshore holdings in tax havens, something illegal for any politician in Ecuador to hold. This was public knowledge even prior to his 2023 election. Now his government is "restricting access to the leader’s personal financial disclosure forms, blocking all information on his assets and debts."
Oh, and about those offshore holdings ... Yeah, they're connected to his drug trafficking-linked Banana company.

For almost a year, the U.S. government has been illegally bombing fishing boats and killing people without evidence of wrongdoing. And last month, Alexandra Bravo, the Ecuadorian prosecutor investigating boats that were attacked or disappeared, was murdered.
This is not a coincidence. There must be an independent investigation.
