Detransitioners deserve to be heard. 📣
Many were put on puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, or even surgery as children or teenagers. When they came to regret it, the same medical system that transitioned them had little to offer.
Chloe Cole started puberty blockers and testosterone at 13 and had a double mastectomy at 15. By 16, she knew it was a mistake. When she tried to reverse course, she says her doctors were “completely unhelpful.”
She’s not alone.
📊 In a study of 100 detransitioners, 55% said they didn’t receive an adequate evaluation before transitioning. 65% said their clinicians never explored whether trauma or a mental health condition was behind their desire to transition.
📉 Only 24 ever told their clinicians they had detransitioned, so the true number is likely undercounted.
That’s why the voices of detransitioners matter.
👉 It matters when they say they were lied to as children.
👉 It matters when they say the “trans movement” capitalized on their depression, anxiety, and intense adolescent feelings, exploiting them rather than treating them.
👉 It matters when they say the relief they were promised never came.
Detransitioners have a lot to teach us about how gender-dysphoric children are being treated. We ought to listen.

I’m working on an article to explain why I believe the UK and Irish governments are telling households to stockpile water and food that doesn’t require electricity.
TL;DR: I believe governments are preparing to prioritise AI data centres over their own citizens.
The electricity consumption figures and government policies point to a serious problem. Both countries are preparing households for prolonged power outages while giving energy hungry AI data centres preferential treatment.
Are these warnings really about extreme weather, or do governments already know their electricity grids won’t be able to cope with the expansion of AI data centres?
“Be ready by having some everyday essentials… three litres of water per person per day, tinned goods... to last a few days”
Speaking to @vicderbyshire, Defence Secretary Wes Streeting details advice to households to be prepared for a “dangerous and turbulent world”.

Last year, Trump invited Conor McGregor to the White House… after the MMA wrestler raped a woman so brutally that her tampon had to be surgically removed.
A forensic examiner testified this in court, and McGregor was found GUILTY of rape by a 12-person jury.
Oh, AND a paramedic who examined her testified that she "had not seen a patient as bruised as her in a long time."
SOMEHOW, THIS QUALIFIED HIM FOR A TRUMP WHITE HOUSE VISIT.

SHE FILMED THE TRUTH INSIDE BRITISH CLASSROOMS
In 2005 science teacher Alex Dolan strapped on a hidden camera and walked into 4 schools in Leeds and London.
What she filmed was not shocking to anyone who has ever set foot in a British secondary school. Pupils fighting on desks. Kids swearing in teachers faces.
Staff shuffling the worst behaved pupils out of the building the moment Ofsted @Ofstednews turned up to inspect.
@Channel4 aired the footage as Undercover Teacher, part of the Dispatches @C4Dispatches strand.
Leeds City Council went to the High Court to try to block it. A judge refused the injunction and ruled the programme served the public interest.
Watching a school fake its way through an inspection turns out to be exactly the kind of thing the public has an interest in.
So naturally the system did what it does best. It went after the person who filmed the problem instead of the problem itself.
The General Teaching Council spent 4 years building a case against Dolan. In March 2009 it found her guilty of unacceptable professional conduct for breaching the trust of the pupils she filmed.
Not the staff accused of hiding disruptive kids from inspectors. Not the school that burned through 26 supply teachers in a single year. Her.
She was suspended from teaching for 12 months.
Channel 4's own deputy head of news at the time said publicly it was wrong to punish a whistleblower for this kind of work and that the messenger should not be shot.
Press Gazette @pressgazette called the ruling a sad day for journalism. That was generous.
Dolan left teaching and became a weather presenter for BBC Look East, which is either the most British redemption arc going or proof that forecasting rain is safer than forecasting institutional failure.
No school she filmed faced a tribunal. No member of staff accused of gaming an Ofsted inspection faced a tribunal. The teacher who exposed it did.

Lord Forst is absolutely correct. Any articulation of the fact biological sex exists and “gender identity” is a faith concept would become a risky thing to say if the Conversion Practices bill becomes law.
