A tribute to Arsenal's historical performance at the Bernabéu.
Every player gets a mention before we talk about the man at the helm.
The man who is responsible for this special moment in Arsenal history. The man who constructed a game-plan from heaven, Mikel Arteta.

Mikel Merino’s goal in the first leg tipped the tie. It sent Madrid into media meltdown, and it proved to be a decisive moment for #Arsenal, but his performance at the Bernabéu may be his best for us. Two superb assists, and a false nine masterclass. #AFC xitter.cf/trssrt___/status/19126…

I love the way our fans have come out in numbers to protect Lewis-Skelly at every opportunity. Don’t give the journalists the clicks they want but drown out the negativity with the truth.
He’s a great character and only a good thing for the sport.

Can someone please explain to me why this wasn’t a red ? Bernardo clearly kicks Trossard out of frustration here.

Meanwhile, here's Liverpools 7 captains having a chat with the referee.... – at La Mirada, CA
Arsenal players wrong to surround the ref but...1) they were complaining about a wrong decision that then got overturned; & 2) FA has to be consistent & charge every team whose players surround the ref. Refs deserve respect. Players deserve consistency and correct decisions. #AFC

Peter Bankes is the PGMOL chosen referee for Arsenal vs Manchester City.
He is from Liverpool and is not allowed to referee Liverpool games.
Arsenal are Liverpool’s biggest title rivals.
How is this fair?

@YankeeGunner @clivepafc Hey guys, in thinking about our previous transfer window, it's easy to forget that our 1st attempt at signing a player to add to the group was in fact Sesko. We know that didn't land - but it's evidence that there was a spotlight on adding fwd player.
He may have been our no#1 target, & after that, we moved to our no#2 target, a midfielder. I mention this 'cause the narrative seems to be that the club didn't try to land an attacker.
Looking ahead to the game against Liverpool… we really need to win that if we are to maintain last season's momentum - otherwise we could see ourselves fall 5 pts off the pace.
Design is about communication first & foremost. When I see this kit I just can't get my head around it. Why would you want to have a kit that shares your current biggest rival's colours? From a brand point of view - it just seems so ill-conceived. #Arsenal ❤️🤍
@gunnerblog Who thought dressing in Man City's colours was a good idea? It's weird man.
