Today, if you compare Ekiti State with the remaining 5 states that were created in 1996, we ranked better than them in terms of multidimensional poverty, child mortality and mostly other health issues, out-of school children, debt relative to IGR, budget discipline (implemented 87%) in 2025 ahead of the remaining states, ranked better on Ease of Doing Business (8th nationally) etc. Compare us with Bayelsa that gets more FAAC than Ekiti? We are far better. Bayelsa earned 900 bn plus in 2025. Ekiti earned 275bn. Poverty rate in Bayelsa is 88% Poverty rate in Ekiti is 36% We are not oil producing state! Yes, no be data we go chop. But data again is stubborn. Have we solved all our problems? No. Are we backward? No.
On Oct 1st, 1996 when Ekiti State was created by Late Sanni Abacha, we were not given a take-off grants. This was applicable also to the remaining five states that were also created in 1996. We started from the scratch. We started with zero kobo. This was not the tradition. Previous states that were created got take-off grants which helped them to hit the ground running. In Ekiti, we had to depend on donations from our people. Today, we are building Ekiti Knowledge zone. We didn't get here by accident. We know our challenges and we will continue to put pressure on government to address those challenges. But hey, we are not backward. We are developing at our own pace.

This is Ekiti, a stunning blend of morning mist over ancient mountains, smooth roads opening up new opportunities, and a rich culture driving every bit of our growth. Beyond the beautiful landscapes, it is our heritage and our unstoppable drive for progress that truly define who we are. Experience the heartbeat of a state on the move.

SIX of the FBI’s Most Wanted Fraudsters. CAPTURED. Four continents. Over 4,000 combined days on the run. More than $2 BILLION tied to the FBI’s Most Wanted Fraudsters list alone. These fugitives thought crossing international borders and hiding overseas would put them beyond the reach of American law enforcement. They were wrong. This FBI and our international partners will pursue those who defraud Americans, no matter where they hide. JUSTICE WILL FIND YOU.

Since his first video, I knew this guy had more to say about fake products, and has intel. I fear for his life right now tbh. His life may as well be over, because his people are cruel and evil. I remember the fish seller guy that was murdered just because he dared to sell as genuine and non inflated prices.

Our latest operation in Nigeria delivered: 9 ARRESTS. 53 electronic devices seized. $11 MILLION in potentially freezable funds identified across multiple countries. These scam centers exploit innocent victims, steal life savings, and operate across international borders believing they are beyond the reach of law enforcement. They’re wrong. In 2015 JP Morgan dropped Nigeria from its bond index because foreign investors couldn’t get their dollars out. Eleven years later, it’s planning to open a bank here. It wants a merchant bank running before year-end, pending CBN approval. Last month it also put Nigeria in a new emerging-market bond index at 7.4%. Don’t expect an account though. Merchant banks serve big companies and government, not individuals. Still, when the world’s biggest bank moves in, global investors pay attention.

Reports suggest some journalists were paid to report £51m as the transfer fee. The EPL is carrying out strong investigation into this incident according to reports. — Reports via German

The results are increasingly evident top Nigerian companies now included on the FTSE Russell Frontier 50 Index, the NGX at historic highs, increased foreign direct investment and renewed economic confidence, a unified and more stable foreign exchange market, foreign reserves standing strong at about $55 billion, and so much more. The United States commends Nigeria's strong response to the latest attacks from Fulani militant groups. We will continue to work with the Nigerian government to protect Christians in the Middle Belt. We urge Nigeria to continue the momentum and defend the Barkin Ladi communities in particular.
