Day trading existed before technical analysis, so technical analysis isn’t what makes trading possible. Markets existed before chart patterns, indicators, and candlestick formations. Traders made decisions based on economic conditions, supply and demand, price, and market information. You can trade without technical analysis. But if you don’t understand what drives the market, you’re missing a fundamental part of the picture.

Y’all keep trying to catch the bottom on gold. Stop. Here’s how I trade a bear trend. An impulsive move breaks support. Price pulls back and gets CLOSE to that broken level. That’s your entry, with risk tight right above it. $4,840 broke impulsively. Price pulled back right up under it and got rejected. That was the trade. Now $4,005 is gone, and I don’t think it comes back to retest it just yet. Look left. $3,445 was RESISTANCE all through 2025. Old resistance becomes new support. That’s where I think price is going first. The macro is pushing it there too. Gold doesn’t go anywhere until real rates come down. The market is pricing a December HIKE, with hot PCE and oil keeping inflation sticky. Soft NFP Friday or a Fed that blinks, and I’ll reassess. Until then, I’m holding toward $3,445. Impulse breaks it. Pullback gets you in. Old resistance is the target. That’s the game.

Democrats are above 90% to win the House and about 63% to take the Senate. The House is mostly priced in, so the Senate result is the real swing factor for Wednesday’s open. If a Senate sweep surprises and tech sells off hard, funds hit with margin calls sell what’s liquid and in profit, and gold is both.

The tragedy that happened in the Bronx is heartbreaking. But what’s equally concerning is that nobody has been arrested in connection with the crime, meaning we don’t even know who the perpetrators are. Just because someone is Black doesn’t automatically mean they’re Black American. I’m not trying to justify what happened, but before writing think pieces and generalizing an entire population, shouldn’t we at least know who committed the crime? If you know anything about New York, particularly the Bronx, you know it’s home to a large immigrant population, including Caribbean and Dominican communities. Being Black doesn’t automatically make someone African American. You don’t even know the nationality or background of the people responsible, yet you’re using this tragedy to generalize Black Americans. Hold people accountable for their actions, absolutely. But stop assigning collective blame to an entire population based on the color of someone’s skin. So should call all African scammers, kidnappers, and bandits at this point?…
