This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.
When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them.
Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community.
At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts.
We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.

Okay whether or not Peanut is actually racist/homophobic, his community just outright is. And they’re vile. And him not condemning or calling out their bullshit is ultimately an indictment on his part.

Bringing this back up. Not only this, but this game features a lot of POC, and cultures of different backgrounds. Seeing a racist and homophobe probe the game and never even play it again is saying something. 🫠
They forget a killer is voiced by a trans woman.
They forget 2 survivors are trans, 1 voiced by a trans actress.
They forget there’s a gay survivor.
They forget there’s a lesbian killer.
It’s time to remember what game you’re playing. It exists whether you like it or not.
🏳️🌈 Happy Pride Month, forever and always! 🏳️🌈
it’s hilarious that some CM thought giving this guy all the dlc would be good for the game then the guy turns around says this to his audience of rabid bigoty lunatics.
anyway, that’s what bhvr gets for pandering to a toilet bowl full of hateful dookie.

Mike himself said on Reddit that they were at a loss on how to resurrect downed player before they bleed to death in a futuristic tabletop without a cleric armed with healing magic, and coincidentally his paramedic friend yapped about airborne ambulance, so Trauma Team was born.

ALT Thumbnail image for Episode 3 of Cyberpunk Red RPG Sessions. Patrick Mills sits at a table, gesturing with both hands. He wears dark sunglasses and a black zip-up hoodie with the hood up. Dice and other game pieces are visible on the table in front of him. Text reads, “RPG Sessions, Episode 3.” The Cyberpunk 2077 logo appears in the corner of the image.

That smile when Picard realized he stood corrected by a person who had not even read the source material she had been referring to—but was still correct, and he, who could quote said source material from memory, was wrong.
