THIS. This is the point I have been trying to make. “Competitive” is not selling like it used to. Yes I know it sucks for some, but the current landscape is shifting to a more casual centric audience. You don’t have to like it but these companies HAVE TO take this into consideration. Making games that won’t sell or retain players is bad for business. These are games to us, but it’s still a product companies need to market, sell, and retain customers for. The 5% that wants comp, I’m sorry to tell you but ur 5% doesn’t generate enough revenue to sustain multi million dollar studios and the HUMAN developers that need to get paid for their work. It sucks but THE MARKET IS SPEAKING.

Yes, even with everyone who disagreed with me or had differing views. I appreciate keeping things productive and everyone who was willing to have an honest open discussion about it. Called it! This is exactly what happened in ARC raiders. Everyone is just gonna run free kits cause if they keep dying, they have to keep resetting their operator, especially if they have no money. Which means…FreeKit DMZ! lol 😂 Said this would happen cause we’ve seen this before! Players with no money aren’t going to risk what little they have left, if they have anything at all! Now the entire PvPvE economy is ruined!

Let me remind yall what happened in #arcraiders when the average player got tired of getting killed off spawn trying to find some rope and ducks… Everyone would only run Free kits. Eventually the PvP became pointless. No one was getting anything. No one was risking anything. This is the path #dmz is heading down. But hey, I’m just a casual gamer. What do I know. We’ve seen 2 games die because “this is a PvP game. Go play something else.” Ok. That’s exactly what players will do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The PvP vs PvE argument has already been tried and tested. I’m all for organic PvP. If it happens it happens. But a lot of “those” PvP players just grief and it drives people away. Then the obvious happens. The player count drops. The game dies. PvE players simple want an additional mode, not a replacement. #Tarkov used to be the ‘go to’ excuse for realism PvP but even they saw what was happening and adjusted. They added a PvE mode and guess what, it’s the most played mode now. #Marathon tried to force the “we’re a PvP game and that’s who we are!” And guess what, the player count dropped. #ARCRaiders also tried to force the “we’re a PvP game!” and guess what, the player count dropped. But…when they tested PvE for a week, the player count SPIKED. Now we’ve reach this cross road with #MW4 #DMZ We’re having the same argument. With the same logic. With the same stubbornness. And guess what’s going to happen… #pvp #pve #extractiongames

#MW4 #DMZ The PvP vs PvE argument is officially hitting its peak. Something changed with the match making and now NO ONE is having a good time. The hilarious part of all this is that Marathon & ARCs player count dropped off the map bcuz of PvP but people still wanna argue that DMZ doesnt need a PvE mode LMAO Wait til the numbers drop off here too. Especially once Warzone releases and 90% of the PvP players leave too LOL TLDR: DMZ needs 2 modes. Regular PvPvE AND PvE only. Bookmark this. The mode will die if something doesnt change.

#MW4 #DMZ after a certain time of the day w/trios strictly becomes Warzone. I’m good on that til MP drops this Friday. I’m all for PvP if the situation happens but watching certain streams and people straight up just saying “let’s just hunt people”, warzone has done irreparable damage to #callofduty

If they added loadouts and added 100 players and less AI and less looting and less crafting and a circle that closes forcing everyone to 1 location and the final team standing extracts on the chopper". LMAO Brain rot community. DMZ is NOT Warzone. Warzone is NOT DMZ.

#MW4 #DMZ players who say "it needs less AI". What do you mean? The game mode is you going into a heavy guarded zone where you are suppose to gather intel/materials, complete missions and extract without being caught. If you remove the AI, then ur just looting an empty map. This isnt Plunder.

As the night progress, #MW4 #DMZ started feeling more and more like Warzone. Personally, not what I want out of DMZ. If I wanted to play warzone, I would play warzone. I think ill pass on it for now. We'll see how it plays as the Warzone players shift over to MP/Warzone later.

#warzone players complaining abt #DMZ because DMZ isnt Warzone. lol. Ya thats the point. Its a DIFFERENT game mode. Warzone is for you. DMZ is for other people. Just how Pizza isnt Steak. See how that works? lol

This week is proving more and more why @EmbarkStudios used a psychologist to study player behavior in @ARCRaidersGame Im a firm believer that the way you play video games is a direct indicator of the type of person you are in life. Arc Raiders has been very revealing this week.

#ArcRaiders #PvE Observation from some games I ran yesterday. 1 lobby had a guy following me asking me for my weapons. He said “I’m broke, I don’t have anything. I just want a kitted bobcat really”. I didn’t have a bobcat in that moment. I had a toro (for the 40 Arcs challenge) and a Hullcracker. He had a tempest fully kitted. Note, this was a PvE toggle lobby. He kept following me asking for my guns. Told him I was just doing challenges so I needed the toro. Kept following. Clearly a PvP player who is either low on loot or out of it and he can’t compete in PvP lobbies in that moment. Very next lobby, a small group came together to fight the bully. 1 random guy runs at us screaming “PvE is bullshit. You all suck. You’re all shit players playing PvE”. Everyone there was basically just getting materials but this one guy was mad. And yet the irony is, HE CHOSE TO GET INTO THE PvE toggle lobby…just to complain. PvP has NOT been removed from the game. This is a 1 week test and yet PvP players are losing their minds. Why? Because many of us called it. They NEED the feeling of shooting another human player that they know isn’t interest in fighting back. It’s the only way they get dopamine now. The concept of someone doing quests or fighting Arcs is foreign to them. And if you don’t play THEIR WAY, then YOU are the problem in their eyes. Right now, ARC has something for everyone but only PvP players are angry. PvP is still in the game. So what is the problem?

The thing about modern "gamers" is that they will avoid playing the game by using any exploit possible, just to complain about game content. Have y'all tried, I dont know, playing the game? Everyone wants to get to the finish line without running, then complain that the race is over. smh

Controller players when they win: "Controller aim assist isnt even that strong. Just get better!" Controller players when they lose to smoke: "Smoke should be removed from the entire game. Its stupid." Maybe switch to MnK and you wont have issues losing AA in smoke. *sips tea*

This reminds me of the movie Pootie Tang. A movie about all black stereotypes spun as 'comedy' because it was based off a Chris Rock joke but who wrote and directed the movie......Louis CK. A white guy. They playing in ur face.

Dear @EmbarkStudios Who ever is in charge of spawns on the new map, please reassign that person to do something else. Just complete terrible decisions considering the size of the map.
