Lost a good friend today. We played hard against each other but we were always above board. Stuck up a super relationship at the Canada cup in 1981.
Enjoyed many golf tournaments at the Dale Hawerchuk charity in Ontario.
I will miss him and his great personality
RIP Ron
Pat Lafontaine charity golf tournament, lots of fun
Hard not to miss these guys, some things will never be the same
I am and have been a Yankees fan since Mickey Mantle. They have enjoyed immense success however they have always had a huge payroll.
Regular season is tough but does not compare to the playoffs.
I went to Jone Beach last night to watch Winnipegs The Guess Who.
The venue is super and the band was great. Everyone needs to see the band perform, you will not be disappointed.
Yes they were both lefties however Stefan played rtgoring’s def with Bammer
The isles had a guy named Dennis Potvin, he was pretty good. He shot left and frequently played the right side, I’m sure @ehornick or @91Butch can correct me if I’m wrong, but both he and Stefan Persson were left shot d-men but they were on the ice together a lot (I was young and it was a long time ago, but I remember them as a pretty good pair)
#isles
I really thought you had finally woke up but once again you are smoking some delusional garbage.
Dinner that the leafs don’t even get to the semifinals
People saying I’m hoping back on the Leafs bandwagon are smoking out of @RearAdBsBlog’s crack pipe. I’m not like @ryanwhitney6. When I say I’m leaving, I leave. But believe me when I say the Leafs will be lifting the Stanley Cup in about 11 months. That number 12 lottery ball changed everything. To say I had something to do with it is the biggest understatement this app has ever seen. Once again. You’re welcome Leafs fans. I’ll see you at the parade and I’ll bring the @pinkwhitney. The wait is over. #1967
Watching NHL game, I can’t believe so many hockey people can not recognize what a spear is
That was an attempt to injure and should have been 5 minute penalty
Eddy O had the right call, any one who has played the game knows the difference from a slash and a spear
Great call Tony, it was the most amazing performance by a rookie never mind, he was just eighteen for the entire season
Congrats Mat, next year the Norris
Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful women in this world that make all their children lives better with love.
Your mum won’t always be there , so cherish the time
Felt the need to point out the astonishing season Mathew Schaffer accomplished in his rookie season
No one guaranteed he would make the team, and he wins the Calder and you could make a case for Norris as well as Hart.
The NHL waited forever for Bobby Orr, now Schaffer arrives
