i've built a lot of internal tools, but CSVs still reign supreme for many ops workflows. yet, opening them feels like a massive chore: - excel is overkill for quick edits - google sheets takes 6+ clicks to import a CSV - apple numbers isn't intuitive and can't save to my original CSV honestly, i mostly use finder's built-in preview, but often i need to make small changes to the file. so i finally shipped my latest pet project, Cells, a free, native macOS app: - open a 1GB CSV in milliseconds (see the video!) - saves back to your original CSV file (no exporting!) - edit CSVs like a spreadsheet: drag to fill, ⌘D, smart paste, etc check it out and lmk what you think: cells-app.com

i actually counted the steps for google sheets the other day. bare minimum it's 6 clicks and 2 page loads. unacceptable!

kind of crazy that you can just build things in a few hours to scratch your own itch, this is part of my growing portfolio of personal software: nitter.gq/ABTapper/status/206858…

so I built this small app called "ports" to keep track everything for me - lightweight and lives in the mac menu - lists all dev processes w/ port number - buttons to open in browser, jump to terminal tab, or kill the process sharing it in case it's helpful for you (100% free) ports-app.com/?x=1

projects in @cursor_ai are ▦ addicting ▦ insanely good ▦ dead simple to set up shipping a new macOS app later today that scratches an itch i've had for a while

Enjoyed the analysis @FilmstudyRavens Question: would it ever make sense to go for 2 if you get the first OT drive and score a TD?
