They tried to bury the Empire Zinc strike, but the legacy of 1950-52 lives on. When the miners of Silver City were barred from the picket lines, their wives took up the fight and held the line. The American Communist Party remembers the workers who refused to back down.
ACP NM attended a movie showing and discussion hosted by Los Alamos Study Group on preventing more nuclear pit production at the Los Alamos National Labs near Santa Fe. We discussed how we need to invest in our communities, not more nuclear bombs.
ACP NM tabled at the Native American Heritage Festival on Central NM Community College campus. Students were interested in hearing about the Party and its focus on the class struggle. It was great to get the cadre together and spread the good word!
ACPNM tabled at a climate event in Santa Fe and enjoyed engaging with citizens concerned about the environment. We explained that the only serious way to live in harmony with the ecosystem is by changing our mode of production and pursuing socialism.

Serving our communities is a long-term commitment.
Last weekend, we got the call from our community contact in Sandy Creek. Our last project, helping build new raised beds for a neighbor devastated by this summer’s flooding, needed more hands to bring to life. We suited up & hit the road, working all morning to get these new planters operational so our Sandy Creek neighbor could get their small business restarted. We helped fill in the planters we made at the beginning of the month with layers of rock, dirt, and mulch, cut & installed liners, and moved the new planters into place.
Now, our neighbor is ready to get their small business & life closer to normal.
Meeting the needs of the working class in our communities is a protracted effort. But ACP TX is always up for the task.

The campaign to unionize drayage truckers is RAPIDLY growing. Now, we're bringing the fight to the Carolinas.
At the Port of Charleston, drivers are being misclassified and exploited by executives and brokers.
It is time the industry served the truckers and their interests.

On September 6th, the Maine chapter of the American Communist Party assisted a local homestead with field maintenance for crops that are grown to distribute to the local community. This experience taught and provided vital information and practice in self-reliance, self-sufficiency, and sovereignty.
In rural Maine, the prevalence and perseverance of small farmers and homesteaders means locally grown, healthy foods - not only for the homesteaders' family, but for the community as well.
The Maine chapter of the American Communist Party upholds our small farmers and growers. The Maine chapter of the American Communist Party remains committed to food security.

The American Communist Party stands in unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people.
We were proud to join comrades and allies, including the prolific and inspirational activist Chris Smalls, founder of the first Amazon Labor Union, at the rally in Los Angeles.
His participation in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla and detention by the Zionist entity for attempting to deliver humanitarian aid underscores the brutal reality of the blockade.
This intersection of labor activism and internationalist solidarity is central to our fight. As our program states, we oppose ALL forms of national oppression and champion the right of self-determination for all peoples.
ACP California was honored to attend the Solidarity With Palestinians demonstration. From the picket line to the port, from the workplace to the global struggle against imperialism, our commitment is to the working class. The struggle of the Palestinians is one with the struggle of the American working class.

🧵🏠 See how our friends at Randolph Tenants United were able to force a landlord to replace a dangerously faulty electric panel by appealing to the town Board of Health.
In the rentier-capitalist US, homes are treated as a speculative asset to extract rent from, rather than a utility for people to live in. As a result, landlords cut corners and leave things to fall apart rather than be updated, while modern homes have become a luxury supplied to high-paying professionals by big developers and real estate firms.
Salute to tenant Lou and RTU for taking a stand against this systemic rot!
