We can’t erase the pain of the past, but we can choose not to let it define our future.
Some experiences will always be part of our story, but they don’t have to determine how the story ends. We can learn from the mistakes, heal from the disappointments, forgive ourselves for the things we didn’t know, and move forward with a different perspective.
The past may explain who we were, but it doesn’t have to dictate who we become.

Invest in yourself sounds cliché at this point but hear me out.
For you to invest in something, you must believe that product is better than everything else and can give you the most returns.
For you to invest in yourself, you must believe you are better than everything and everyone else and investing in yourself will give the most returns.
And if you believe that, no matter how bad it gets, you're willing to take a bet on yourself OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
The belief that you're better than everyone else is textbook narcissism, hence we must all have a little narcissism in our lives.
