In 2013, I had the honor of presenting a National Service Award to Virginia McLaurin. She was 104 and fostering special needs children. Virginia continued that work for several more years. Yesterday, at 113, she passed. Virginia's life and spirit inspire. nbcwashington.com/news/local…

@DDOTDC Minnesota Ave reconfiguration is a nightmare, shows whoever designed the pattern doesn’t know our community nor took time to learn it. Traffic jam from 27th & Minnesota to B St & Minnesota is utterly unacceptable. More accidents + delayed emergency vehicle response time. – at Washington, DC
