So my insurance stopped covering my CGM (Glucose Monitor), no notice, went to refill my prescription, pharmacy informs me. Contact Endocrinologist they call in a new prescription for DexCom. Called pharmacy today to check on it and apparently the insurance needs authorization from the doctor to fill prescription. Now call me crazy but if the doctor called it in in the first place isn’t that kind of already authorization to fill prescription🤷🏽‍♀️ I don’t know make that make sense.
