At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember to stage an attention-seeking photo opportunity.

#PoliticsLive Vicky Young jumps in when Labour MP says Farage does absolute minimum as MP.
'He's not here to defend himself'
Most people criticised, including Andy Burnham, aren't there to 'defend themselves' but that doesn't seem to bother Gibb & McAndrew sidekick Vicky Young!

This is absolutely insane
We all knew it was biased towards Reform but to see it like this
And yet people accuse Question Time of being βA lefty showβ
@bbcquestiontime this is embarrassing Iβm afraid

No one else has appeared as a guest on the show more than Muhammad Ziauddin Yusuf since the last general election in 2024.
He is now set for his 8th appearance.
This man is a shadowless, unelected, loudmouth.
Why so much airtime?

Tomorrow, when you see the front pages of the right-wing press telling you how dreadful the budget was, remember their track record.
Also remember that right-wingers wonβt ever be happy with any budget that doesnβt push down on those at the bottom to benefit those at the top.

Just a reminder to all Reform UK members to put your clocks back to 1936 tonight.

'Request Stop, Hampstead.' (c1950) Stephen Bone painted a world full of charm. His style went out of fashion for some years but is again gaining popularity. If you are wondering about the colour of the bus sign, white bus signs with a red circle indicated 'compulsory' stops.
Nigel Farage says he will fix most of the countryβs problems within 100 days of becoming Prime Minister so maybe he could tell us why heβs been unable to implement a decent vetting process for well over 2 years and counting.

Neither Cartier-Bresson, Banksy nor Cold War Steve could have come up with such an image. Absolutely perfect composition and lighting (even the road signs are perfect)! π

The BBC is already giving Nigel Farage coverage for a speech he hasnβt even delivered. Report on what he says tomorrow, by all means.
But previewing it now gives him free publicity and lets him set the agenda before anyone can scrutinise his words.

Reform UK are apparently going to send out an 8 page flyer to Β£15 million homes. Not that I'm suggesting that you send them back, so they have to pay for the return postage. But if you are, you might find this useful.

Zia Yusuf wants to kill people in the Channel. Pete Hegseth is going to livestream an execution.
These two things have not just been randomly announced.
Political violence is a central tenet of fascism.
If we don't stop it now, it will be too late.

So Kemi Badenoch wants to pay for new prison cells by cutting Β£1bn from culture, media and sport?
That means youth clubs, leisure centres, sports pitches, arts projects and music venues, places that give young people somewhere to go and learn teamwork and self discipline, all of that: gone.
Thatβs not tough on crime, thatβs building a pipeline into the very prisons you're promising! And this from a party that added fewer than 500 prison places in a decade, and left communities like mine fighting to keep leisure centres open in the first place.
Disgraceful.

The level of misrepresentation of Burnhamβs speech on GMB, the tabloids and elsewhere is off the scale. One thing @andyburnham should consider is Leveson 2 & and a review of the failures of OFCOM
