Trae is the ONLY Hawks player drafted to not miss significant time due to injuries or suspensions and that should be noted and applauded.... everyone else has missed a portion of 2 seasons...
Trae Young is the smallest of the group

The Hawks are currently 6.5-point home favorites in the NBA Cup opener against the Wizards tonight... if you enjoy that sort of thing.
Jalen Johnson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Atlanta, with Newell + Landale out.

Doc Rivers calls Giannis difficult to coach:
“He’s not easy. He plays at this crazy downhill pace. He’s really a difficult guy. He has this great passing ability, but he doesn’t have super IQ at the same time. He really has 1 way. Every play he wants to force it. I wished he learned how to execute better. The thing he needs to still learn is the value of execution. How important it is when you’re in practice and shoot around to lock in on execution. Now he has a coach who’s as good as there is in execution.”

For those who didn't go to night 1 in Atlanta of the Usher and Chris Brown R&B Tour, here's an honest recap of what happened/didn't happen:
Showtime was 7:30, historically started around 8:45/8:50, but this night started right after 10.
During that time, the DJ was doing his best to keep the crowd entertained showing an infinite amount of baddies throwing ass, freaked out exhibitionist couples, lit white people, and keeping the music going all the while. Shout out to him because there were times he looked stressed and I don't blame him.
The show was no where near sold out. This was the 5th show that was added and had the cheapest seats. The shows for the other nights were 2-3x the price for the same exact seats. It was still a good overall turnout.
The two artists were never on the stage at the same time the entire night. They didn't acknowledge each other at all throughout the show either, it really was like 2 separate shows sharing the same venue.
There were moments where the audio wasn't great, but it was not unbearable by any means. Audio is always a challenge in Mercedes Benz.
Both artists did fantastic during their sets! Everyone who was on that stage was going full out which was appreciated.
Ti and Young Dro made a surprise appearance during one of Usher's acts and had a pretty lengthy multi song set together. Considering the stadium curfew and the late start time? More of the missing acts of the tour could have made it in if this was shorter, but if there really is beef? Shout out to TI and Dro for filling in so there wouldn't be a shorter show. They had the stadium rocking and provided the good duo energy we weren't going to get from the main events that night.
Usher had a segment to celebrate Keisha Lance Bottoms and spotlight her in the audience and it looked as though she was not in her seat at the time.
Eric Bellinger got to perform solo for a bit but there were no Mario or Tank segments this time.
There is historically a dj break before Act 8 in the show. It looked like this was started but then cut abruptly which led to some confusion.
Usher told the city goodnight on his final song and people were confused and started to leave, then Chris literally flew in after Usher was gone and performed his final songs and said goodnight separately.
Even though they both did great separately? The lack of partnership was obvious and everyone felt it. That plus the long start time were major disappointments. I hope they can put whatever is going on aside for the remainder of the tour so they can at least share the stage together

To the Georgians who did not vote for me: I see you, I hear you, and I am committed to serving you too.
As a prosecutor, we never asked who a victim voted for. We asked who hurt them. I ran to fight for all of Georgia. 💙

One party pass bills that benefits its people and one party benefit the rich. We differ on the generalization.

He was explaining why voters feel the way they do about his party and he's right, they are both paid by the same people. Its refreshing to hear a politician say something honest.

Chris Brown and Usher kicked off their five-night run at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but fans began speculating about possible tension between the two after they skipped their usual onstage cameos together.
The show reportedly started two hours late and ended early, fueling rumors of a possible fallout.
Chris Brown quickly shut down the speculation, calling it “cap” in an Instagram post shortly after the show.
