Most clips recently I've only heard Carragher talking down Villa. It's the entitlement of all of these ex pros in the Fergie era that's embarrassing to listen to because they've put their own clubs on a pedestal. Imagine what we could do if Football spending was a level for all.
So next time he plays, nobody tackle because he is 16. Come on, being 16 doesn't get you protection from anyone, if that is your argument then leave him out of playing mens football, it's your club that maybe needs to do the protecting.
I personally thought that was a perfect game to start Garnacho, not sure why it didn't happen in all honesty. First 11 was slow, disconnected & poor which sets the tone for the rest of the game. Hemmings lacks any sort of confidence needed at this level unfortunately. #AVFC

I agree, I think it's worked out well for both of us, I do think given more time he would do well but maybe he just suits Villa because he literally has all the power to do whatever he wants. Both managers are elite in all honesty

Arteta inherited a squad that was already competing for titles, Unai Emery has built this squad from relegation contenders to competing for CL most seasons. There is context, but it just doesn't suit people's agenda's to show the full picture. #AVFC
Since Unai took over on 1 November 2022, the Vila has spent €776 million on transfer fees. This covers 44 arrivals. Unai finished the season on 7th, 4th, 6th and 4th positions.
Arteta took over in December 2019 and in his first 4 seasons, he spent €680 million. He finished the season on 8th, 8th, 5th, 2nd, challenging Pep and Klopp in a title race.
What backing and time does Unai need that he's not gotten from Villa? Why isnt he competing for the league yet?
It took Arteta 2 full seasons to start competing for the league. It has taken Unai 3 full season with more spendings and yet he's nowhere near challenging for the title.
You guys should be serious for crying out loud.
A few years ago Matty Cash was questioned, we need an upgrade they said. Last season I tipped him to be player if the season - The Althletic gave him the award. He is one of the leagues best right backs now, he's improved under Unai so much. #AVFC

Im not massively disappointed as I'm quite relaxed about where we are at this season. We need a ball playing CM & CB's needs to be heavily invested in though if we are to move forward. Until then, silly goals like today will always be an issue.
