I’m ashamed to tell the story of how he demoted my uncle from Principal to Primary 3 school teacher for eating students’ WAEC money. He came to the family compound to ask him if he’s mad.😩🤭.
It didn’t stop there, he was dismissed on voluntary retirement and all the money he
I schooled in Onitsha High School, Onitsha. One morning, the principal Mrs Julie Ofoefuna informed us that Mr Peter Obi was coming to our school because the Senior Prefect called him and reported that the school building was at the verge of collapse which was true. We thought it was a joke because my school was one of the local schools then, we said” the governor has not finished visiting CKC, DMGS, St Charles, QRC”etc these are best schools then.
By 12:00pm that day, he landed with Dr Kay Onyechi the state commissioner of basic education, he inspected the school. He said he will return after two weeks. Two weeks passed we didn’t see him, we took his words as normal Nigeria politicians 😭😭😂.On the third week which was school closing period, he landed. He came like a thief, no motorcades or sirens blowing ” he apologized for coming after two weeks, he said when he learnt that the school was in exam period, he decided to wait but to come after exam. In the end, he gave more than enough for the school renovation. He asked us what we wanted for lunch, nobody could mention any reasonable food. He gave each student ₦100 for snacks.

This is the reason Dr Bosun Tijani blocked me.
I quoted his NUCAP post with my experience as a project coordinator on similar MTN/Huawei rural sites in the past, and asked what would be different this time. He blocked me instead of replying.
If a sitting minister under President Tinubu can’t take constructive criticism from a young Nigerian, tell me if this country is getting better anytime soon.
This is not a new project. As far back as 2015, MTN and Huawei already had something similar called MTN Rural Telephony, and that was before bandits became this widespread.
I was a project coordinator on some of those sites. The biggest setback was always security in these remote areas. Almost all the backup batteries were stolen. Technicians were often 12–24 hours away, and many sites weren’t accessible by road.
Some towers stayed down for days or even months because of community issues. There were cases where security guards were killed when robbers came for the equipment.
These projects are extremely expensive to maintain. That’s why I’m not sure why the government is taking on the role of running them directly. Private operators already struggled with exactly these problems.
What will be different this time?

Just like someone asked, what exactly does Nigerias President do all day, week, month? Asides receiving guests? He gives no media chats, doesn’t visit troubled states, FEC meetings don’t even happen, doesn’t attend international conventions etc, so what really does he do?
Dear Nigerian Air force @NigAirForce, watch this video closely. I'm sure you'll like to have a president who's actually presidential

Dangote Cement made ₦1 trillion in profit after tax. More than double 2024.
But cement sales actually fell from 27.7 million tons to 27.5 million.
That’s monopoly pricing.
And Nigeria is letting this crime scene continue.

🗣️ "We thought Lagos was generating 13,000 tonnes of waste daily. It turns out it's about 17,000."
🗣️"How do you plan for what you cannot measure?"
Lagos Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat (@drobafemihamzat ), says the state underestimated the true volume of waste being generated, a major factor behind the current refuse challenges. He also explained the steps being taken to improve waste collection across Lagos.
Do you think Lagos can solve its waste problem? 👇

Back to this post! This is absolutely crazy and should be seriously frowned upon by all political parties. This is a valid ground for all opponent political parties and candidates to come together to protest and make sure this level of impunity is addressed.
This is extremely absurd! This means if people are being disenfranchised on Election Day they can’t run towards a commissioner of police for safety since they already have the fear that he’s affiliated to a particular political group. This is disgusting.

Three front runner aspirants for the office of President of the federal republic…
One aspirants team is lobbying the US to review a longstanding case of money laundering and drug related offences forfeiture…
The others team is responding by reminding the former of longstanding allegations/ case of bribery…in the US.
Both have hired lobbyists.
Third Candidate stands clear of any scandals…money laundering, corrupt enrichment, bribery or otherwise. Has persisted in saying that any credible allegations of malfeasance while in office will result in him stepping down from the race. Has made the same challenge for years now and still…crickets.
And you say you don’t know who the best candidate is ???
My brethren in the lord…your character is suspect!

These are tax returns of prominent UK politicians. Former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, former Chancellor Jeremy Hunt, and present Prime Minister Kier Starmer.
Nigerian politicians should know that you can not be enforcing taxes without leading by example.
Make your tax returns public!

The tragic news from Katsina has grown even more devastating, as the search continues with over 50 bodies now recovered. This horrendous act goes beyond an attack on innocent worshippers, it is another painful reminder of the worsening state of insecurity in our nation.
Nigerian lives must now have value to us as leaders, we cannot continue to treat these incidents as ordinary statistics. Behind every number is a father, a mother, a child and lives cut short with families shattered. The dignity of human life must be restored as a sacred priority in our country.
I repeat that unless we urgently tackle the root causes of insecurity, we will continue to mourn needless losses.
My heartfelt condolences once again go to the grieving families, the people and government of Katsina, and all Nigerians who live in fear of such daily tragedies. May we find the courage to rebuild a nation where the security of lives and property is not a privilege, but a right guaranteed to every citizen.

What Empty Nigeria booths in TICAD9 mean
The empty Nigerian booths in the ongoing Ninth Tokyo International Conference, TICAD9, in Japan do not just define the empty promises of this government for the past two years, they also reflect the consistent emptiness Nigerians have been fed at home by this government. Even the defence being put forward by the government, that they only wanted to have more “strategic engagements” is the same tired excuse we have heard over and over again.
This government has mastered the art of throwing around wrong statistics and misleading statements, not to provide real solutions, but to camouflage the emptiness of its performance and the suffering it has inflicted on Nigerians.
The empty booths at TICAD are not just about a diplomatic embarrassment, they are a clear symbol of the hollow promises and empty governance that our citizens have endured.
Just as those booths stood empty in Japan, so too have the lives of millions of Nigerians been left empty, with empty hope, empty relief and empty of the progress they were promised. The truth is unavoidable, the empty booths abroad are a physical reminder of the empty promises at home.
We must do better as a nation.
