By the end of the novel, The Kid has grown up to be a better man, he’s left the old life behind him and become a man, who guides lost travelers. He’s not a detective per se, but he does carry the heroic persona that the detective, the knight, the sheriff, and the Samurai have
How is it a detective story?🤔

I always find these secular reflections on marriage interesting because these experiences of marriage are grounded in some real truth. If you separate your marriage from God, of course it’s going to end in disaster, and lead to misery.
“Wicker” shows just how suffocating marriage can be—and asks whether the institution is simply incompatible with love, @fhill_official writes: theatlantic.com/culture/2026…

This is the *logical* conclusion of desacramentalzing the act of marriage. You can’t have even a tiny amount of it. Sorry social conservatives, you either get God, or you get a world of failed marriage. You can’t have a happy society, built upon marriage, unless God is the center

…full understanding of the ramifications. It makes sense in the self-contained super hero world, but the shows conclusions don’t reflect reality. They can still be interesting, but not profound.

Now the villain [spoilers] Is an ai based on a real person, but she cannot be the same person metaphysically. The show has an opportunity to do something really interesting by showing the disparity between the real person and the robot, even if the robot thinks it’s real.

I’ve been watching the Visionquest show. It’s an intriguing premise, but the marvel shows have a lack of consistency, and they’ve always felt weightless. I’ll give my thoughts as the show goes on

The show is trying to deal with the balance of humanity and technology, trans-humanism, and if robots can have souls. It’s not advocating for it, I don’t think, but without a proper grounding in Christian thought and understanding, it’s dealing with ideas without…
