Congratulations to our skilled visual effects team on your #VisualEffectsSociety nomination for Outstanding Special (Practical) effects In a Photoreal Project #BlackAdam
thank you #fansite More #andyrobot #robots with an new weird fake ai in the top photo (not me). that metal color which is a nickel like coating is the real robots. I chose it during new build because it is resistant to a lot of elements found out there in the #ocean #maritime
Having a big bold idea is one thing…
But making it actually happen is THE thing.
(You can only be first, once.)

This account is a #superfan my robotics designs🙏🙏. i designed the Robotic Ramp in 2012 with my dear friend Bill Buxton (legend). It is on #ICONoftheSeas for @RoyalCaribbean #ABB industrial robots, same brand as what i used on #Two70 on #Quantomoftheseas
Version 1 was always going to be a functional prototype — a solid proof of concept for the Roboramp™ system. (The gateway to every wheeled sport — past, present and future)
With so many brand-new, radical technologies debuting simultaneously in the same prototype venue on the same prototype vessel, successfully pulling off the world’s first self-assembling stunt-ramp felt like a technical miracle!
But the effort was absolutely worth it.
Because in the end, you can only be first, once.
Onwards to the future…
