Our award winning multi-axes, #AdvancedRobotics video-vignette #Oceanides (on #OdysseyoftheSeas) was preceded by #DanceInABox, ~created for #QuantumoftheSeas in 2014. When we get the time we’ll put together the “Making Of” because this was the beginning of a whole new art form.

And the Roboscreens™️ reset…

Six robotic arms, on a special custom built steel beam, on a rigid but transportable platform, awaiting their custom designed LED screens… mmmmmmm, I wonder what this is for? (Actually, I really don’t. Coz I KNOW what it’s for). Could our #robotics shows be going on the road? 🦾

I hope that you guys can see this stunning creation soon — it’s totally revolutionary, figuratively, AND literally. Multi-axes #AdvancedRobotics (using @AndyRobot’s unique application of #inversekinomatics), real-time optical video capture, and 1:1 scale playback. #PGAaward. – at Miami, FL

#InverseKinematics is the process of calculating the variable joint parameters needed to place the end point of a kinematic chain (in our case, a huge Roboscreen™️), in a given position and orientation relative to the start of the chain. (Andy Robot explains a bit about it here).

Hey, that’s a really great name for a super complex, multi dimensional, multi performance media, advanced-technology driven production. I might use it one day. (maybe even soon). In the meantime here is some #AdvancedRobotics, 36 axes #Roboscreen video content especially for YOU!

A major compliment from the Robo-man himself, the one and only @AndyRobot! Our partnership reaches new heights Andy. The team is so proud to be nominated. Your Roboscreen™️ technology is being pushed to the outer limits on this project. #Oceanides #advancedrobotics #two70

Combining 36 axes #Robotics with #4kVideo ain’t easy. ~Technically, it’s 41 axes with vertical translation of the beam, pitch roll & yaw of vessel, + forward/aft motion across the Earth’s surface. (Don’t get me started, this is a favorite discussion between me and @AndyRobot :-)
