Washington says the Chinese genomics firms helped run genetic surveillance and forced labor programs targeting Uyghurs in the Uyghur region.
“Today, DHS is barring three Chinese DNA testing companies from allowing their goods to enter the United States unless importers can meet the law’s requirements. This is about enforcing our laws, protecting American businesses from unfair competition, and making clear that companies connected to forced labor will not get a free pass in this country.”

Uyghur kids are Chinese boarding schools. It was a first month for the kid in the video in a Chinese boarding school in the Uyghur homeland. He refused to eat and kept crying. The mother said “I wonder when you will adjust yourself to the boarding school”

The CCP is actively trying to cover up its genocide in Xinjiang and western companies including @Starbucks are helping it. In some cases, companies are operating just miles away from detention camps where Uyghurs are persecuted.

China’s Ethnic Unity Law in Practice: Nearly 100 Uyghur Police Reportedly Fired for Speaking Uyghur
Eight police officers at one station in Ghulja County were fired for speaking Uyghur among themselves. That is what a serving officer told Radio Free Asia. He said the number across the county could reach nearly 100.
The timing is hard to ignore. China’s Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress took effect on July 1. It promotes Mandarin and directs schools to build a strong sense of community among the Chinese nation. It also reaches into family education, cultural activities and ethnic integration.
