The whole “support Black businesses” narrative needs to die. It takes the focus off excellence and removes accountability.
Success isn’t built on sympathy — it’s earned through value. Stop marketing your race and start building something worth supporting.

it's very manipulative that our angry side is always seen as our “true colours”, as if when we are happy and being kind, we're being fake

God, please keep showing me what’s for me and what’s not. Close every door that isn’t meant for me. I’d rather have the pain of losing what’s hurting me than hold on to the comfort of illusions

This is the worst take I’ve seen all year
Selling a loop doesn’t mean you just lose your rights to or credit for your creative property. Unless you specifically agreed to those terms ahead of time. This is the same issue artists face with beat leasing and not crediting producers. And why samples have do be cleared, and why content ID is used, and strikes are added to platforms who use other peoples music without permission.
There isn’t anything at all unethical about creators stepping up and taking ownership of their work, and understanding their rights and advocating for them.
Disregarding the terms you accepted when finalizing the transaction and using the product is unethical. Intentionally working against the rights of other creators is unethical. No one is forced to use others’ creative work, but if you CHOOSE to, you’ve agreed to :
⁃Accept their terms
⁃Abide by those terms
⁃Remain aware of the limitations
set forth in those terms
⁃And agree not to interfere with
them exercising any of those rights
There are plenty of sites for royalty-free loops, or you can make your own, or hire a producer for a custom product. Being a pos to other creators is a bad look. Remaining uneducated is a choice. Choose wisely
