13,200 Trump Dollar coins in the vault and counting now
Want to give a small update on the Trump dollar project.
The fee rate is collected as a 3% transfer tax in the token itself, like how Stonk does it - so of course have to sell the token back into pool to get $ to buy more coins.
However, I collected way more in fees than anticipated quickly, to the point that I have 12.79% of total supply that needs to be sold in a single wallet.
Obviously, selling the 12% in a single transaction or even string of transactions would look really bad.
So what I am doing for now is setting a static 20% sell on every buy, until at least a good chunk of this initial supply is sold out.
For example, if you buy $1,000 of Trump Dollar, $200 will be sold from the supply so I can start acquiring coins at a faster rate.
I think this is probably the cleanest solve for now so I can rally get things moving going into the bank rollout this month.

I have 50,000 trump coins so far and they’re about $4 each on eBay. For every $2 I raise in fees, I’ll transfer 1 to a backed vault.

figured this is good timing since they are finally hitting banks next month. I think don will be talking about his coins a lot. Especially if they’re $10-20

Trump dollars are releasing in banks next month, and he is going to be pushing them hard.
I have the largest collection of them to my knowledge, so I’m gonna do an experiment.
3% tax, and all fees will go towards buying more of them on the open market.
Prediction: these sales are going to age poorly for sellers 🧹🧹🧹
Well, this was unexpected 😂🍌
Went to ApeFest and received a FREE mudwater booster box just for showing up.
Didn’t think much of it at the time, but the next morning I decided to throw it on eBay for $1,000 just to see what would happen.
And it SOLD! 🤯🔥
The entire bundle went with it: the sealed booster box, dice, playmat, and deck case.
Pretty wild to think that simply showing up and being part of this community turned into a $1,000 sale.

In November of 2013, Caldwell discontinued sales of Casascius coins after being informed by FinCEN, a branch of the Treasury Department, that minting physical bitcoins qualified him as a money transmitter business, which would require some huge legal hoops to jump through.
