Skeleton Friend: On Halloween I can go out as myself and not get strange looks but then November comes around and I'm back to being an outcast

this discourse is always so funny to me because i'm not running marathons to impress you people. i'm running marathons to get the voices in my head to shut the fuck up. and those voices can read chip times.
From @TheAthletic: Is posting a faster marathon time on Strava rather than your official race result considered cheating?

ALT “I think there is a major difference between cheating and posting the Strava time... I had achieved a huge personal feat after training hard all year. I won’t let the internet take it away from me.” - Charlie Winslade, a marathon runner, who said that his official chip time was over three hours, but his watch time had brought him in just under 2:58:28.

Not Strava, the results.

Jets fandom is so funny because everyone thinks something else or a different direction is the objectively correct one like we’re the experts: get a young offensive mind, get a proven veteran, get a college coach, trade for one, bring back Rex, etc.
This is not hyperbole. This upcoming offseason is the single most important in Jets franchise history. They cannot be hesitant. Dump Glenn as soon as possible. Be the first team ready to get the head coach you need.
The Jets more than any team need a head coach who is BIGGER than the franchise. Who is larger than life. That's part of the reason Rex worked so well for them.
It should be a short list with maybe 5 names on it:
Mike Tomlin
Jon Gruden
Curt Cignetti
Brian Flores
Jim Harbaugh
