SpaceX: The Company That Wants to Own the Future kshaped.substack.com/p/space…
Something extremely simple and important that investors without prior knowledge in risk are missing:
The fact that it didn't happen or it hasn't happened multiple times in the past does *not mean that the risk wasn't there or false.

You Can't Understand the AI Future Without Reading Science Fiction kshaped.substack.com/p/you-c…
If Chinese models were really on par with OpenAI and Anthropic where are solutions to hard mathematical or physics problems? They are benchmaxxed and distilled. That’s ok for their use cases but what happens if you really need the best model?
As @bengoertzel said, it is possible that ALL software gets rewritten by AI with formal verification so it's unhackable in theory. Imagine the token spending..
Thinking of AI as another technology is a category error. Not even the industrial revolution created an entity able of thinking at higher level than humans. The cliche this time is different doesn't even apply here.
The Internet Is Becoming a War Between AI Agents kshaped.substack.com/p/the-i…
What the current cyber security incidents mean is that you need the highest level of intelligence 24/7 (top tier AI model) and also the fastest $CBRS to be able to defend. All other sites will be obliterated. This is a totally new market.
If the local supermarket cashier is discussing about how her father in law told her he heard in the news there is an AI bubble, the market is profitable and -30% and you are not buying, you really deserve a McDonalds internship my friend.
This is the time to get into the world of amazing William Gibson and the Ice breakers.. he foresaw what is happening today with AI & cyber security. Read the neuromancer. Today.
You absolutely need the highest level of intelligence to protect you. Now you will need to pay for this to AI companies. It's inevitable and party of the business model. What bubble? You have no idea what's coming
First graphic designers, then developers, then mathematicians, then cyber security & hackers.. when is your turn coming up?

Meta’s Alexandr Wang says one session with an AI agent felt like 3 years of therapy.
“It had, you know, access to my email and access to a bunch of my photos... I was very vulnerable through that process.”
soon we'll all have our own "Superintelligent Therapists" and i can't stop thinking about the implications.
think about how therapy works right now.
you see someone for an hour a week, and everything they know about you comes from what you decide to tell them.
so they only ever get the version of your life you remember (+ are willing to say out loud)
now imagine an agent where:
it has read every email and text you’ve sent.
it has gone through your entire camera roll.
it remembers every chat you’ve ever had with it.
it would see all the deeper patterns you never even think to bring up
like who you stopped replying to, what you keep putting off, who’s in your photos during the years you looked happiest, etc
this thing would literally know you better than you know yourself
it could psychoanalyze you at a level no therapist could ever reach
(at least on the information side. i still think a good therapist does something beyond words, more on an "energetic" level)
but what does it actually mean when there’s a superintelligence that knows you better than anyone else does?
even Elon is worried about this one:
“So many people are going to get one-shotted by super persuasive super intelligences and I might be one of them”
anything that knows you better than you know yourself also knows exactly what to say to change your mind
I'm cautiously optimistic it could be very helpful for self-reflection / behavior change, but there are massive downsides if stuff goes wrong.
regardless it's inevitable, so we're all about to find out

If your competitors or enemy has access to higher intelligence he wins. That simple. It's not going to stop at "good enough levels".
Anthropic's extreme 2030 scenario has US GDP at $44.4T, while labor's share falls to 45.2%. It's a scenario, not a forecast. But it raises an investing question: who owns the machines if wages capture less of the growth? kshaped.substack.com/p/the-d…
High IQ vs low IQ thinking about AI. The problem is that the market is generally low IQ
BofA on AI comparison to the dotcom:
"Unlike the idle fiber of 2000, deployed AI infrastructure runs near 100% utilization, and even older A100/H100/B200 (2020/2022/2024 launch, respectively) GPU rental rates are up 12% -37% YTD, a sign of scarcity, not glut"
