I understand that Americans are tired of war and that many want out of the Middle East. I understand that they're tired of chaos/drama (and consequent high fuel prices) associated with Trump but I don't understand why
1) they accept the premise that Trump blithely broke a promise re Middle East wars;
or
2) he lied re Iran getting a nuke;
or
3) that a nuclear-armed Iran is no big deal.
Why would he lie about Iran? Obviously it was going to hurt him politically.
If Iran was close to a nuke do Americans doubt that they would use it?
Do voters (looking at the Zoomers) no longer think that radical Islamists want world domination? Millennials, Xers, & Boomers remember 9/11.
Do schools still teach world history? Do they not know that Islam began violently and sought global domination for a millennium and was only stopped by force?
I understand that Trump miscalculated the problem and promised more than he could deliver (and did a very poor job of explaining why he acted) but if he had intel that they were close to a bomb, what was he supposed to do?
