This is rather lovely. A Scottish concert of string orchestra music, sponsored by @LNER, at Linlithgow church this Sunday evening. One of the pieces incorporates sounds from a @TanfieldRailway steam locomotive too @railway200 lner.co.uk/news/full-strings…

🎉 We’re excited to announce the artists we've commissioned to create work as part of our 2024 programme!
Deborah Shaw, Meray Diner, Rebecca Livesey-Wright & Indra Wilson, Ritu Arya and Sarah Forrest will all respond to our theme In/Visible.
Their projects will shed light on hidden stories rooted in lived experience, covering vocal and physical tics, conflict, trauma, queer pregnancy and m*therhood, and neurodivergence.
The commissioned work – which encompasses music, film, sound art and sculpture – will be shared on our website and at our showcase event Now You See Us, taking place at @CCA_Glasgow on Fri 25 & Sat 26 October.
