What changed you say - she went to college. Got a septum piercing among others, and was arrested for violently assaulting a Jewish woman at a University of Michigan event while saying she should have killed her.

It is a "compliance by pain" device. It's use is following a failure by the group to obey a lawful order.
What purpose would there be for using it if that is done in a way that doesn't result in pain? That is its only purpose.
The aerosol form of pepper-spray has an effect range of only about 10 feet. After that it disperses too much to be effective. It is meant to be used close.
Gel-based pepper "spray" products designed to shoot in a narrow stream a distance of 20 feet or more are used differently. It is not supposed to be used at point-blank range.

It needs to be appreciated that most/all of the litigation you are seeing filed in connection with the election has either Mark Elias or Norm Eisen attached to it.
There is simply no question -- as if there ever was -- that these two Democrat attorneys are being paid MILLIONS of dollars by Democrat backers and interest groups, and they are filing dozens of lawsuits involving hundreds of attorneys with the primary goal of overwhelming DOJ and the Courts.
This is simply a bottomless well of money that Dems are willing to spend on lawyers to acquire power.

In 1959, the Chinese Communist Party bragged about record harvests. A teenager came home to find the trees stripped of bark and his father starving to death.
Yang Jisheng was 18 and writing for the Communist Youth League newspaper when a friend told him his father was dying. He rushed home with rice, but his father was too weak to swallow.
He died three days later.
Yang still believed in the Party for a while. He became a reporter for its official news agency. But his father’s death stayed with him, and in the 1990s he used his press credentials to get into the communist archives.
The harvests had been a lie. Officials faked the numbers, the state took the grain and the Party buried the truth for decades.
His book, Tombstone, is still banned in China.
He named it for his father and the 36 million he estimates starved with him due to communist policies.
