Two words of caution, one for older men and one for younger men.
Older men, Absalom didn't come from nowhere. When Amnon violated his sister Tamar, David was furious but did nothing (2 Sam 13:21). Absalom waited two years, then took justice into his own hands. Passive fathers raise bitter sons.
Don't provoke your children to anger (Eph 6:4) by ducking hard conversations or hoarding work you should hand off. Humble yourself. Own your sins, open your hands, and work alongside these young men.
Some young men are telling older men, "You had your chance. Get out of our way."
Young men, your grievances about what was squandered before you got here are real. Crushing cost of living and homeownership, foreigners overrunning our nation, feminism pervading everything, and American jobs handed to H-1B workers.
But young Absalom had a real grievance too. He sat at the city gate stealing hearts (2 Sam 15:1-6), and he ended up hanging in an oak (2 Sam 18:9-15).
Young Rehoboam forsook the counsel of the old men for the voices of his buddies and lost ten tribes (1 Kgs 12:13–16).
You can name your father's sins and still honor him (Exod 20:12). Try building a house by tearing down the man who gave you your name. See how long it stands.
If we want lasting reform, we need sons who honor their fathers and fathers who shepherd their sons, all of us under the lordship of Christ, building what none of us could build alone.
In light of political realities in which the GOP only went milquetoast to be “pragmatic and win” and got wiped by a blue a tsunami, we should be radically uncompromising and campaign on abolishing abortion and then actually do it. Can we get more abolitionists to run everywhere?

Let's take stock. You were promised:
- Golden age of America
- Mass deportations
- Decreased inflation & cost of living
- No new wars
- Secure elections
You got:
- No discernible golden age
- Deportations, but not at the anticipated pace
- Inflation & cost of living increase
- New war
- Still no voter ID required for voting
You believed those promises could be delivered without abolishing our many national abominations. This is what happens when you seek blessing without obedience, crops without labor, and fruit without repentance. You want God to prosper your nation without abolishing the bloodshed that requires wrath.
It's like playing wack-a-mole with God's punishments. He sends us invaders; He sends us turmoil; He sends us curses because WE DESERVE IT. What you essentially struggle against is God Himself. He will not prosper a nation while the blood of the innocent cries out to Him for justice, and against all the millions of people who have done it or turned a blind eye to it.
If you have supported the doctrine of supporting the "lesser evil", the abominable creed that you can support feckless Republicans who sit in seats of power stained by the blood of innocent children, you should repent. These "leaders" are blind guides who take you into the ditch with them. They promise to prosper you while spitting at God. He will not be mocked.

Of course he is asked “are you against abortion” and he responds “Is this what it breaks down to? No, I think if you are a woman you should do whatever you want with your body” -
