"I think he has to do more. I don't think we're there yet. I think he's around the same age as Alex Smith was in Kansas City. I do think there's a world where they're drafting too low next year... Having that flexibility to not force it with a young quarterback, I think, is gold." 📞 @AlbertBreer w/ @NickWilsonSays and @JPeterlin on the potential of Deshaun Watson playing for the #Browns beyond this season

T.J. Ward isn’t sold on Deshaun Watson cementing his future as Cleveland’s QB1, break. He breaks down why Todd Monken could pull off the same results with Shedeur Sanders after defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers on TNF “Deshaun is playing well... but he ain’t playing THAT well.” 😳 “Deshaun is in his contract year. Now you got options, right? We got Shedeur here. Do we pay Deshaun Watson the bag? I think Monken could do that with Shedeur, I’m not even gonna hold you.” “Don’t get me wrong, he playing some good football. But he ain’t doing sh*t that’s just like, ‘OH SH*T! Did you see that play?!’ He missed a wide-open Fannin late in the game, he fumbled in another critical situation—lucky he recovered it—and threw an interception.” Is T.J. right about Watson, or should Cleveland lock him down & start Shedeur next szn?
