Hope this means the millions of innocent players that were banned get unbanned and they actually look into it. Surprised it took them this long but relieved they’re actually doing somewhat something about it.
Roblox has issued an official statement on the DevForum regarding account bans.
Some of the things they say they're going to improve on:
- Clearer ban notices.
- More proportionate Marketplace consequences (flagged terms in items or experiences)
- Grace period for games available in Roblox select
- New Issues & Appeals page (more than one person can view violates and file appeals for games under groups)
- Expanded appeal eligibility (more specific appeal types for your ban notice)

with more than half a million being an enforcement ban.
I know a large portion of those bans are NOT with legitimate cause.
I urge anyone to refrain from using Public Wifi. Roblox claims they use many systems, and an IP ban is certainly one of them.

Roblox is once again claiming that you won't get enforcement banned for using an external Wi-Fi connection.
If this is true Roblox, then the other signals you have to identify ban evasion are not accurate. We have seen this happen time and time again to innocent players.
1,100,000~ players have been banned just last month. Will they have a human review their appeals? No.
Will you continue to provide nearly instant restoration to large developers through DevRel? Yes.
How much money do we have to make you to have a fair chance at appealing?

Roblox developer 4Tweak, the CEO of Aventix Games, is weighing his legal options after he says his account was improperly terminated.
Roblox also reportedly gave his terminated account the verified status.
He's stated that he has gone to a lawyer for legal assistance already.

ALT Unfortunately, so many European users are getting terminated right now, and it is becoming completely chaotic. This is not the kind of normal activity you see every day on Roblox. It is terrible how the platform is handling this. They are completely ignoring our situation, even though a lot of us are losing a massive amount of money on the spot. I really hope Roblox does something about this soon. When this first started a couple of months ago, they said they would look into it, but now it is spreading fast like wildfire. Just this past October, so many of us bought items like Headless or other Limiteds, only to be banned immediately after purchasing them. I don't know what is wrong with their customer support. This automated AI support is flagging users for incredibly simple things, and it has caused a massive outbreak of false bans. They need to resolve this problematic issue immediately.
