Woke up this morning and I am at an absolute loss for words…WOW.
Finally, I’ve hit the big 5K mark, and I have so many people to thank. My family, friends and girlfriend for all their support. Fellow creators for their kindness and everyone who has subbed.
I love you all ❤️

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

We lost one of the greats of stage and screen today. And, in my book, a tremendous friend and man. I learned so much from him. I will miss you, Patrick Stewart, all of my days. @mang0ld

Marvel Studios has released a statement on the tragic passing of Sir Patrick Stewart.
“All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from X-Men to Logan to Avengers: Doomsday.
He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.”
NO WAY! Omg dude, this one hurts. And we’re only a couple of months out from seeing his big screen return.
We lost a legend folks, heartbroken. RIP 💔

Saw that #Clayface is on track to score $25M this weekend off a $40M budget and I thought, "Oh, so like a standard event movie back in the day, it'll recoup its budget over the next couple of weeks and be considered a success." But no, bean counting has taught everyone that <$1B at the box office means it wasn't worth the effort. You're all children.

The superhero bubble is burst. You can’t make a “Captain America” film for $180m, a “Fantastic Four” movie for $230m, or a team-up movie for $180m and count on them being a hit anymore.
Can you make a $30m IP-tethered horror movie and make money on superheroes that way?

DCU is the only universe where a film can have recoup its entire production budget opening weekend...have metrics like a 3.8 on Letterboxd, A- Cinema Score, & a 75/94 split on Rotten Tomatoes and still be called a failure

I've said it before and will say it again, Jeff with Exhibitor Relations is the dumbest box office account there is and it's not even close. Dishonest and dumb at every turn. nitter.gq/ERCboxoffice/status/21…

Suicide Squad's budget was much larger and it was marked as featuring Batman, Joker, and Harley Quinn.
That trio is a little more popular than Clayface.
This is INSANE for a horror movie!!
‘CLAYFACE’ debuts on CinemaScore with an A-
Very rare score for an R-rated film.

It’s such a shame that so much of the conversation in the film criticism space these days boils down to box office numbers…
Like this is how far we’ve fallen? The only thing that matters is the box office, and we attack one another over opinions…
What happened?
CLAYFACE is the real deal! Not perfect, but it undeniably delivers the goods! This is EXACTLY the level of variety I was hoping for from the DCU!
Gross, bloody, and not afraid to bare its teeth. I can understand some folks nitpicks with it and I have my own, but solid overall!

The fact that we went through a studio shutdown, restart, engine change, and game reboot and we're still here, wanting to do right by the franchise and the fans.
We get it. You want the sequel. Good news is that it's coming in 2027. We showed it at Summer Games Fest and to press over the summer. Thanks for you understanding and your support.
