As someone who runs an esports org, I couldn’t imagine cutting someone for their opinions just because I disagree with them. Especially when you’re taking a lot of money from people who share similar opinions but it’s ok because they give you money. @Plat_Esports would never.
We believe @G2esports G2 Esports has made a grave mistake in terminating its relationship with Perkz over his publicly expressed personal convictions.
“Diversity” must include diversity of thought, belief, and opinion.
You do not have to share someone’s religious, political, or moral convictions to respect their right to hold them. The true measure of tolerance is how we treat people with whom we disagree.
G2 had an opportunity to demonstrate mature, principled leadership by acknowledging those differences without demanding ideological conformity. Instead, it chose exclusion while invoking the very principles of diversity and inclusion that should encourage mutual respect.
An organization that cannot tolerate disagreement within its own ranks is not demonstrating strength, progress, or inclusivity. It is demonstrating an inability to navigate differences with maturity and professionalism.
Tolerance that extends only to those who agree with you is not tolerance. It is conformity masquerading as virtue.
We believe G2 should expect better of its leadership, its organization, and the values it claims to represent.
Weak, pathetic behavior by G2.

I was with @AlQadsiahES from 2024 to mid 2026 and have not received any prize money earned during that time, including @EWC_EN 2024/2025 prize money totalling over 60k alone. This is on top of all the other money they owe for reimbursements
Been repeatedly told that they are working on processing it and will pay everything soon, but at this point it has been far too long

@yagami2428, @THEJON07 & myself are owed over $100,000 USD between us, comprising of prize money, salaries and reimbursements extending as far back as mid-2024.
This total does not even include the many people from the fighting game department and other games, that have also experienced these persistent issues and who remain unpaid.
This situation is unacceptable and contributes to the increasingly poor reputation of the Saudi & Middle East based organizations.
If an @aramco owned organization, can fail so completely, then what hope is there for others?
Every possible effort has been made to resolve the matter directly with the team for unreasonably long period of time. Not a single amicle outcome was presented by the organization. We were only met with excuses, stalling tactics and complete disregard for the severity of the circumstances, eventuating in just being flat-out ignored.
Promises were made constantly but never kept and communication was near non-existent.
Not only did @AlQadsiahES not meet their payment obligations to the players and staff, but they were an organizational mess. Failing to properly support players in nearly every way possible, travel, visas, expenses, branding, social media.
Absolutely embarrasing.
One of the few outliers who always did their best for the players and staff he was responsible for, was @Haohken. We worked together closely, sharing the workload of over four different roles, but even he could only do so much when his hands were tied by the higher ups.
We continued performing our contractual obligations in good faith, whilst being beyond patient. Expecting improvement in the infrastructure of the teams, departments and the organization overall, as this was continually promised.
There's a lot more that is to be said regarding these circumstances, including threats and attempts to silence players from speaking out publicly regarding their treatment.
It's time that responsiblity is taken:

It’s stories like this that ruin esports in the public eye. How hard is it to just pay your people? If I can manage to do it with the scraps I have, the Saudis should be able to afford it for sure.
