I have noted with deep concern the conduct of the ADC campaign team. The attacks directed at me, our presidential candidate His Excellency Peter Obi, and our party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), are unnecessary and unhelpful. Rather than focusing on presenting the competence, credibility, and capacity of their own candidate as we have consistently done by placing our credentials and record of achievements before Nigerians, the ADC Presidential Campaign Council appears intent on creating mischief against our party and ticket. This includes attempts to portray us as working for the ruling party or to suggest that we may withdraw from the race in favour of the ADC candidate at the last minute. The ADC-PCC would be better served directing its energy toward rebutting the serious allegations levelled against their candidate by the Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, instead of targeting me and His Excellency Peter Obi. We are aware that the ADC-PCC may try to mislead our supporters on the eve of the election by claiming that we intend to withdraw in their favour. Let me state clearly and unequivocally: we will not withdraw our candidature for the ADC or any other party. We remain confident in our capacity, competence, and readiness to lead Nigeria. The OK ticket is neither working for nor acting on behalf of the APC or any of its candidates. We see no possibility or reason to withdraw from the presidential race in favour of the ADC candidate or any other. These claims are unfounded and should be treated as such. The APC-led government has failed Nigerians. The ADC offers no better alternative. We believe the OK ticket presents a credible and viable option, backed by proven capacity, a strong track record, credibility, and broad support across both Northern and Southern Nigeria. It is a healing ticket committed to uniting our country and tackling critical challenges in security, education, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, the economy, and other key sectors. We believe the NDC remains the most formidable and viable opposition party in the country. I therefore urge all our supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to continue working toward the victory of our great party. Nigeria will be OK. - RMK

There is no Nigerian politician other than @PeterObi that has suffered: . a trail of treachery . a series of betrayals . a hound of attack dogs . a relentless government witch hunt . sustained calumny and lies Look if you want to go and support the drug bagman and the Dubai landlord waiting to inherit the structure of criminality, by all means! But please don’t give us those famous lines and lies about why you are moving to join those we have been ferociously fighting! Many of us remain strong and even stronger in our convictions that PO is the man. Why else would everyone be coming for him?

I get upset when the government abandons its obligation to provide basic things like water, electricity, etc. They expose citizens to private businesses who move into these spaces. IHS Nigeria runs Jaza power in the country. Serious state government would implement solutions like this to generate electricity. For example Alex Otti in Abia. The Telecommunications power tower model can be replicated nationwide. These will go a significant way in solving Nigeria’s power problem. State Governments, Step up!
I just read about a device very popular in Ekiti called JAZA. A swappable power bank structured ecosystem. Apparently they haven’t had Electricity in Ijero Ekiti for almost 1 year. So There are several thousands of this Power Bank devices that are Popular over there. You rent them fully charged for N3,000 and use till its finished then Come back, swop it and Pay to rent another Pack. While I agree that This is a Genius idea. Helping to solve a Big Societal Problem. I honestly just wish our FG took Electricity Provision more Serious. The popularity of Such devices should not be an excuse for the continued complacency in the Power sector. 😤🤬

Austen Peters-Pam Iyabode Amanda is a Nigerian lawyer, politician and former member of the House of Representatives. She is running for the FCT Senatorial District to unseat Sen. Ireti Kingibe. I've read up on her. I don't know if she can electrify the base and turn out votes. She may surprise us. I would welcome that. But reports from the ground worry me. Where is she? What is eating her time? Where are the media appearances? Where are the engagements? @NigeriaNDCHQ please tell her to speak louder. We cannot hear her. Yes, social media has no polling unit. But over 70% of this electorate is under 35. At the very least, give us a handle where we can see who you are and what you're doing, a website where volunteers can signup. Go on Tik Tok, engage young people, tell them your plans for them. We're in 2026, please show us proof of life. Same message goes for every NDC candidate across the board. Don't expect Peter Obi to carry the load. Don't sit back hoping the Obi/Kwankwaso wave sweeps you to your seat. Your silence is not helping. Let's know what we're doing here. @TheoAbuAgada @DirectorOsa @iamHSDickson

My Visit to the Nigerian Air Force Facility Further to my message yesterday, I visited the Nigerian Air Force facility in Abuja today to formally sign the condolence register following the unfortunate aircraft crash. The visit gave me another opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made daily by the men and women of our Armed Forces and other security agencies in the line of duty. These courageous Nigerians put their lives on the line to defend our nation and protect our people. We must never take their service and sacrifice for granted. I extend my deepest condolences to the Nigerian Air Force and to the families, colleagues, and loved ones of those who lost their lives. May God grant eternal rest to the departed and give their families the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss. May God continue to protect all those who serve our country. -PO

Congratulations to our 5 outstanding scholars! Today, we celebrate members of our community who secured the prestigious Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at UBC and McGill, with scholarship support worth over $1 million collectively, and have now begun their academic journey. What makes their stories inspiring is that just one year ago, many of them were unsure how to navigate the scholarship process. Through the right guidance, strategic preparation, and a commitment to improving their applications, they were able to position themselves for one of the most competitive scholarship opportunities in the world. Their success is a reminder that fully funded scholarships are not just about luck — they require the right information, preparation, and approach. If you are serious about securing a fully funded Master’s or PhD scholarship, don’t wait until the deadline. Join the next cohort of scholars we are preparing for global opportunities.

The amount of electoral fraud in Nigeria is mind-boggling. It’s almost affecting my mental health. Every time you think you’ve discovered the lowest it can possibly go, Nigerian politicians and INEC tell you to hold their beer. The 2023 elections were deeply flawed. And while much of the public attention focused on the presidential election, what happened in some of the National Assembly elections was even worse.

Very Rev Fr. Emma Bonavee. Said.... "You don't need ICPC, EFCC or DSS to know corrupt politicians in this present political dispensation, all you need do is to listen as they speak. You will always hear them attacking Mr Peter Obi verbally... They don't want Peter Obi on the ballot because they know that if Obi becomes president of this country, he will end corruption which is their hope of survival..." I believe that anyone against Mr Peter Obi, either he is after something or something is after him.

Good on you Bukky. You just spoke loudly for all Yoruba Omoluabis, the ones that embraced the virtues are parents taught us; honesty, justice, fairness, accountability, kindness and compassion. @PeterObi all the way! #VoteOK2027
Attention, everyone. My name is Adebukola Oluwatobiloba Adebayo. My dad is from Oyo State, and my mom is from Ilesha/Iléṣà. It’s okay to clear some things up because of the misleading rage-bait tweets that children of corn have been circulating for years, ever since I made it clear that I support Peter Obi. The Igbos and Middle Belt tribes supporting APC/Tinubu were never addressed as bastards or people with “tainted blood,” but the moment any Yoruba person supports or campaigns for Peter Obi, we are suddenly tagged and called names like “tainted blood,” “bastard,” etc. Children of corn, I say to you today: your fathers and mothers are not more Yoruba than I am. We are all Yoruba, with deep-rooted ancestral origins, and we have our family houses in our respective states of origin. APC/Tinubu supporters, your fathers, mothers, you, and your lineage are not more Yoruba than I am. I will declare my support for Peter Obi and his ambition anytime, any day. If not supporting Tinubu and his allies makes me a non-Yoruba, then I’ll gladly embrace the Igbos. After all, they are also Nigerians. But then again, I am Yoruba today, tomorrow, and forever. Your fathers can also wail today, tomorrow, and forever. Peter Obi is not just a presidential candidate. I strongly support him and will gladly vote for him. To the reasonable Omoluabi supporting Peter Obi, we see you. We see your reasoning, and we see your conscience. They are so mad that they still can’t use TRIBE to control or influence some of us, which makes them even madder. A new Nigeria is very possible. Vote for Peter Obi in 2027. It’s not a threat; it’s a very big warning. 👂

I am bemused and intrigued by the asymetrical attacks on and trolling of @PeterObi from agents of the government of his home state and mine. The timing and purpose of this legerdemain is also quite curious. My concern is that the ploy is contrived to distract. Mr Obi is running to be president of Nigeria, not president of his home state. Also, @PeterObi has been constitutionally out of office for a dozen years; he cannot ever constitutionally run again as a governor; he is constitutionally one administration removed from the present administration. If the immediate past administration, which suceeded the Obi Administration directly, with all its bluster and "no cash" and "near cash" ploy, failed in "tarring and feathering" Mr Obi, I really wonder about the essence of the present campaign, beyond mischief. I appreciate that this is the political season. But perhaps, those who like me, feel compelled to wade into the fray in defense of @PeterObi, should just serve his traducers with cold meals of silence and thus deny them the fealty-affirming publicity oxygen they so much crave.
