It has been now over 15 years since Gaddafi was killed. There has not been a parliamentary election in over 12 years. There has never been a presidential election, having been delayed for almost 10 years. There is still no legal definition defining the powers of that presidency.

Ellie Chowns makes the case for accelerating the transition to clean, renewable energy following Labour's approval of Jackdaw on #BBCQT.

Only 5,000 kids were surveyed, only 92 were Jewish, only 70 of 92 responded, and 29 said they had faced antisemitism at school. Only 2% said antisemitism was a big problem at their school and we're reclassifying it as a more serious form of racism based on that? Is this a joke?

Much like the Cass Review, the Bell Review cloaks ready-made conclusions in the guise of pseudo-academic inquiry, only this time the government preempted critique by feeding friendly media agreed lines before anyone could comb through it. The truth is out but the damage is done.

Imagine being a school kid and they tell you that a special guest is coming to class to take you all on a trip and due to the Bell report it turns out to be Luke Akehurst who’s come to take you to the Israeli weapons factory he lobbies for.

I would question the common sense of prolonging the UK's exposure to volatile gas prices underpinning our energy bills for the next decade.
A "common sense" approach to climate change & clean energy can fend off challenges from the Greens, energy sec Miatta Fahnbulleh told @politicshome

I'm not sure what Miatta's "common sense" approach will look like when we all share this during the next round of wildfires and floods.
Insulate homes. Invest in renewables. Keep fossil fuels in the ground.

Sorry but this is *insane* strategy for a government
Very interesting - Pat McFadden tells The Telegraph that young NEETs will be given advice on how to set up their own businesses
I speak to so many young people who dream of being entrepreneurs but, if you’ve never known a business owner and nobody can advise you, how can you begin?
This can lead to young people falling prey to unscrupulous influencers.
This has the potential to be a great thing from government.
Man, they really have decided that annual wildfires are worth it to not impede the fossil fuel companies squeezing the last pennies out of a dying planet.
